Well, science made a giant, all-devouring-yet-adorable googirl, that's what it's done.
Merona's real name isn't Merona. It's something silly like Test Sample #03290, or something like that! But, she got out, started to eat up some scientists, and at one point one of their nametags got stuck to her boob! So when she looked down and saw the name Merona, she just claimed it as her own!
