You know, not everyone's cut out for a normal life. It's true! Some people are natural leaders, others natural followers... and some are natural servants. In Meridy's case, she's very definitely more a follower/servant than a leader. Of course, she was raised under unusual circumstances by her mother, who was actually raising her according to some even more unusual instructions from her own mother.... still, you can hardly complain about the result.
Let's back up a bit, though. You see, Meridy's grandmother is actually a servitor demoness. She was summoned, years and years ago, by a mortal mage who wanted her for just that. He needed a servant, and, as an added bonus, well, she was hot. As you may imagine by Meridy's existence, certain things happened that do not need to be gone into in detail. We'll just leave that unsaid, shall we?
Still, logically, it follows that Meridy's mother was half-mage, half-demon. Her grandfather really wasn't expecting that to happen at all, but he turned out to be an alright father, himself. Her grandmother, though, well, she had her own ideas about what her daughter should do, and be capable of. Thus started the tradition of Meridy's family becoming maids. Not being full demons(save, of course, for her grandmother), they can't be summoned and bound by mages as easily as her grandmother was. This means that they have to seek out their master, who must prove their worth before they can enter into their service. A daunting challenge, indeed. So far, though, it's worked out well enough! And, well, as you may imagine, sooner or later someone proved himself/herself worthy of more than that, and Meridy was born!
Now, it's Meridy's turn to take up the apron and broom! And, you know, the new family tradition. Armed with all the training her mother gave her in arts martial and many cleaning techniques, she's JUST set out, and the (relatively) young age of twenty, to seek her own master! Who she'll wind up with is anyone's guess...
Standing at an exceedingly average five and a half feet tall, Meridy certainly stands out in a crowd. For one, she is always, always, ALWAYS in her uniform(barring extraordinary circumstances). For another, well, her hair and eye colors are certainly not the human norm! This earns her any number of stares in some places, but in, say, Japan, she only gets a passing glance. NO great surprise, that. She doesn't mind at all!
Of course, one might assume she has more than one uniform. IN this case, you are incorrect! She only has the one. However, due to her ancestry, this isn't a problem! She inherited numerous abilities from both sides of her family, you see, and it's actually made her as effective as her grandmother at cleaning, if not moreso! Of course, what all of these abilities are is something to be found out later. Suffice to say, though, that she's quite the capable servant! If, that is, you prove yourself worthy of her service...
It is, however, worth noting that she can speak and understand any language, so that's something at least.

>As the name suggests. This is mostly used to move furniture, temporarily, but may be used to set traps if she feels mischievous.

>As with most of her abilities, it's pretty straightforward. She often incorporates a massage with this, just to make it more relaxing. It tingles!
Helping Hands!
>Creates doppelgangers who assist in her current task. Doubles last for approximately two hours on her own power, with up to two at a time. Alternately, two fluid ounces of blood allows an extra hour for a given double. Spiritual energy is an acceptable substitute.
Plug In!
>Manifests a tail that can be attached to her current item. This effectively supercharges it, making it far more effective, but it also tires her out more. It also hikes her skirt up. <.<
Summon cleaning supplies!
>As the name suggests. Available in a variety of scents! All summoned supplies are non-toxic, unless she weaponizes them.
Summon clothing
>As the name suggests. Summoned clothing feels like it came fresh from the dryer.
Summon tools/Weapons!
>Again, as the name suggests. It is worth noting that her tools all double as weapons in her hands.
Summon Vorpal Broom!
>Summons the deadliest of brooms(except not deadly at all). This is Meridy's primary weapon if she needs to fight and can deal a nasty whallop. Side effects may include knocking her opponent so far into the sky that they become naught but a twinkling speck. It is, however, harmless to all but dust bunnies and assorted messes you need a broom for. (Note: Makes the same sound as the homerun bat from smash bros)
Summon Vorpal Vacuum!
>Summons the Ultimate Vacuum! This supernatural tool can suck up ANYTHING. However, in her hands, it is perfectly safe, unless she has reason to suck you up. Any living thing sucked up by the vacuum is reduced to six inches tall, or less. This can only be undone by Meridy. Using Plug In!, she can also use this for a sort of tail vore.
