Plan on doing better art of this character eventually when I learn to do more poses and such. If anyone has decent drawing advice/tutorials to drop please, by all means. Always looking to improve.

Melvix is an... odd little creature. He is peppy and bouncy like a small child and claims himself to be a mimic. A mimic is a race of beings known for turning into objects as a disguise so they can lure in helpless victims to devour. Melvix does not do this. He does prefer to mimic objects, but he also seems to have evolved into more of a wide range for shapeshifting and also prefers to talk to people instead of eat them. Overall he's rather friendly, but seems to have a lot of knowledge for something that seems so young. Physically he has ink black skin that has a sort of gooey feeling to it. He is very short and sort of pudgey when in his base form and seems to lack a mouth unless he wants one there. His eyes are a bright, somewhat glowing white. He doesn't seem to be wearing clothes most of the time, but when he wants to he'll sort of morph ink black shirt and pants on. His hands are three fingered not including the thumb and have nub like claws. They rarely hurt unless he sharpens them. Another note, he does not have bones. If anything, if people try to chew or rip him apart, he's basically like a weird, sticky mush. Not entirely gumlike but pretty close to it. If need be, he can also be more slime-like, usually out of his own personal preference.

Beware, character is not an asshole but can be curious to the point of being extremely annoying. Though the character does get serious as equal balance and still shows fear. It's not like he enjoys being eaten or killed!

His natural ability is to shift his body either entirely, or on sectioned levels. He prefers to take the form of objects, but seems to have learned to mimic certain organisms. When he wants it, his body can be rather sticky like an adhesive. Melvix also likes to sprout tendrils from his body and use them as extra hands or other things. Those that are a sensory type could probably tell something's different with him compared to standard mimics, as well that there's something... more to what he says about himself. He is also able to be someone's familiar by contract.

When in actual combat, his form actually goes from little kiddish to a six foot tall being of amorphous horror with large, white eyes with no limbs. In this form, he prefers to be more goopy than anything and is able to make other beings out of himself, though controlled by him as if it were a hive mind. Mass limits his amount of 'summons.'
