Melty Tail is a physically unusual dragon whom seems to be in a perpetual state of liquifying and solidifying with a shiny, glossy body, whose nuances and physical details seem to alter slightly, but always retains his blue body and glowy stripes. Where is he from? He's not telling! But he will tell you he's not from your plane of existence. A prankster and a tease at heart, what will you do in the presence of this extraordinary, unusual creature...?

Melty Tail is a very unorthodox predator full of many incredible physical capabilities. His body is a combination of a solid and liquid state, to which he can alter at will. In other words, he's a liquid shifter. Don't be surprised if he gets melty from time to time!
Melty Tail thrives on variety, but deliberate seduction. Able to vary his predatory approaches like few people can. Because he is a state changer, his body internally averts all conventions one would come to expect. Especially in the cases of vore and absorption.
Melty Tail most backbone feature is the ability to generate countless chemical compounds and solutions to utilize at any given moment. From beautiful fragrances to bizarre substances that can create all kinds of interesting perk-ups to his prey/friends.
In his solid state, he has a rubbery, smooth body. like a smooth PVC on the outside, airy and inflatable-like on the inside. As such, he is capable of entertaining, even cute instances of self inflation!
Among his abilities, Melty Tail can liquefy his subjects (albeit still alive!), reanimate them upon regurgitation, either back to their original selves, or with various physical alterations. At one point, he turned a volunteer into a temporary pooltoy, which could be reversed be re-melting and re-animating said volunteer. These are just a few of his many abilities.
When he melts his prey, they technically do not end up in a dead state. More like a stasis. Those who fear digestion need not worry. He can keep you snug inside his belly for as long as you want, and cough you up when you want out!
He is flawlessly mobile in the air in spite of having no wings, being able to fly and move around it in any way he desires. This is due to the few of hundreds of chemical creations that is instilled from the nature of his body.
Lacking the need to eat or kill and not being designed for such, Melty Tail is more or less toothless by default. Any bites he applies to his victims won't even feel any discomfort, save for the pressure of his strong jaws if applied rough enough.
He's more along the lines of a realism approach than Cartoony.

His abilities come at a price. He's a complete featherweight. The only people who can't literally push him around are waifs!
Excess expenditure of his energy will require him to go dormant. He is not infinitely energetic. While he does not tire out through exercise or exertion in the physical sense, having to spend energy on his abilities can wear him out!

One individual who's grown quite attached to the beast would describe him best as "Charismatic yet mischievous."
Melty Tail is without a doubt a mischievous beast. It's been said by a philosopher that the measure of a man(or in this case, dragon) is what he does with power. And most everything the chemical dragon does revolves around manipulating, humiliating, and exhilarating mortal beings.
The charisma he wields is derived also from the power he wields. And he wields it with trickery... But all in good fun. Might blow you bubbles... Might eat you alive! He is a creature who can shrug off virtually any form of physical abuse or attack, and his gaseous state enables him to synthesize immortality without even being a deity figure himself! Such only bolsters a powerful yet non-projected and smooth ego. Hardly one to abuse or hurt a soul, yet he derives personal pleasure subjected to alterations, transformations, mutations and liquifications (Is that even a word? :P)
Hardly a stray from an ultimately caring and sensible personality though... ... Until he's reminding you how flimsy you are when he blows you up into a bubble, so hushhush!
