You've heard of Tornado chasers, perhaps? Well, Melony is a macro chaser. Following, photographing, and interviewing the big, bigger, and biggest.
So why, exactly, would she do that? She's one of several people who simply find themselves enamored with the macro community. Simply put, she's attracted to them in more ways than just physically; the simple idea of creatures posessing such raw, unbeleiveable power is attractive in itself. Since an early age she'd been simply facinated by them.. clippings out of the newspaper filled half a dozen scrap books on her bookshelf, stories of encounters and pictures and things. They were terrifying, yes; many, after all, got into the papers with headlines like "Macro female destroys town; devours high school." but even that had a bit of a thrill to it. Then, at age fourteen came a moment that'd change her life; she had a close encounter of sorts. A woman.. had to easily be two hundred feet tall, passed close enough to where Melony was riding her bike that she could see, only barely, the outline of her body far ahead in the distance. It was almost a religious experience for the young girl, and from there she made her decision; she was going to chase them. These pictures, these stories that had been an engrossing facination to her now became her calling, she decided. In high school, she took every photography and journalism class she could get her hands on; in college she did the same. Now she has a batchelors degree in photo journalism, and has more or less devoted herself to tracking down and understanding these wonderful objects of devotion.
As far as who she'll interact with? Well, sexually she's attracted to females, that much is plain.. you see more giantesses than giants around anyway, after all. She won't turn a giant away, though. You're all interesting in her eyes. Amusingly enough, though, she has almost no interest in the normal sized.. she hasn't had a real relationship, ever. Her dreams as far as that's concerned? Well, is it really suprising that she wants a supersized girlfriend?
Those that do manage to get close to her will find her to be a whimsical girl, really, when not working to further her passion. Unfortunately, that's about all she tends to do, and will block out damned near anything. If she's not out chasing, she's researching new cases. If she's not researching, she's typing up yet another article, or organizing her notes from previous interview, or devoloping her pictures, or any number of macro related things. In fact, the otherwise pretty girl doesn't always look like she'd necessarily in the best of health. Truthfully, she leads a rather high stress life style, and combined with a tendency to never get enough sleep, well. If you were to ask her if she had a happy life, she'd of course say yes. Its just that it's probably not true. She's happy from time to time, yes, but does she get a sense of fulfilment with what she's doing? Not.. really.
Unfortunately, there isn't much more to say about her. It's something of a tragic case with her. Her profession is her life, and right now, that's all there is to it. It doesn't help that her profession is also very dangerous; who can even say if she'll be alive for very long? Only time can tell.
Of late, she decided to open a whole new venture; giantess modeling! It's been working out quite well, so far. She gets to take pretty pictures of the most perfect beings on earth, and they even come to her sometimes! Add shoots and corporate sponsorships are always fun, after all.

( Feel free to say hi! Naturally, very interested in macro play, and every fetish that comes with it. Ask about a scene any time you like; I'd really like for her to get into relationship rps that may or may not be cannon to the character. Random vore and death will not be cannon, because at the moment, dead is dead. No coming back. Can she die forever? I guess, if its part of a storyline.
