Married: Jasperic This rather cute naga is now Melanie's partner and soulmate. The lamia grew fond of the naga due to his rather nervous behavior towards her upon meeting. As time went on, the two became closer and closer like two friends becoming closer as time goes on. The player is also an awesome friend, one who cheers me up whenever I'm down with his silly and goofy charm. He is also very fun to talk to, one that I can talk to and one that I'm always happy to speak with each and everyday. One that I'm glad to have as a friend. ^.^

Story

The country of Palisades is both a beautiful place and a tourist attraction. Palisades is located in the far south close to the equator, its very hot and tropical in this country. For this reason, it attracts many people each year. The country itself is quite an interesting one, the southern part of the country is the most popular due to the many coastal cities which features many resorts, amusement parks, beaches, hotels and many other attractions that draws quite a few people to this part of the country each year. The central part of the country is mostly flat and hilly. This part of the country is quite beautiful due to how open and flat it is. It allows for one to see as far as the eye can see. To the north, one can see the smoke and steam coming from the mountains in the north. Northern Palisades is made of the Ai’Kali Mountains and the highest peak in the moutain range is Mt. Ai’Kali, quite a popular attraction due to one thing, the location is an active volcano. The eastern part of the country is a rather strange area, its known as the Dusk region. Its a rather mysterious region of the country due to the fact that it seems to be stuck in a perpetual dusk! Its certainly a strange area but yet it draws quite a few people to the area to marvel at the various wildlife and fauna that seems to thrive quite well in the region.

Finally, we come to the western part of the country, its made of tropical rain forests. The rain forests are lush, thick and contain a wide variety of fauna and wildlife native to this part of the country. The rain forest in the southwestern part of the country is quite an interesting one, the Taelyn Forest. This forest is as lush and thick as the other rain forests in this part of Palisades. But unlike the rest, this one has vibrantly colored wildlife and fauna. The coloration that is seen here can't be seen anywhere else, it the main reason that this particular rain forest is a unique one and why it attracts so many tourists. Each year, many tourists walk the many trails that dot the forest, taking only pictures, observing the wildlife, fauna. Taking nothing and leaving only nothing but footprints. Its the proper thing that one should do to perserve nature, to protect it. Deep within the Taelyn Forest is the hidden village known as Felox.

The village itself is surrounded by a distortion barrier that hides the village from view and also prevents those such as the naga tribes that lived in the area from finding out about the village and possibly attacking it! Should one proceed past the barrier then they'll come across a modest and quiant looking town made up of nagas and other species that decided to live in the village. Its quite peaceful within the village and everyone respects one another. The center of the village is like a bazaar, its ran by various merchants who travel around the country from time to time, procuring strange foods, valuable objects, jewelry and other goods. The baazar is the central marketplace for those that live in Felox. Beyond the Felox Baazar is the part of town that those that reside in the magical council live.

What is the magical council? One may ask, why its the group of mages that oversee the well being of the village. The council was also the one who erected the distortion barrier around the village long ago. One of the mages that make of the council is the lamia known as Melanie "Mel" Aria, she was the one who suggested that the barrier be erected after their enemy, the Ryuaki naga tribe, had continuously threated their village and even attacked it a couple times. The second attack was the worst one and after the second attack, it was when the barrier was erected. Since then, the village had been relatively peaceful. As for Mel? She lived life in the village and was known around Felox as being a kind, caring and motherly person due to the reason that normally helped anyone in need whenever she was out and about around the village.

Several years later, Mel's life changed for the better with the birth of the most precious thing that life could produce, a daughter. She went by the name, Julia_Aria. After she was born, Mel tended to her daughter as much, care and love as she could. She was her only daughter and didn't think she'd have another child. As a result of that thought, she tended to be a little overprotective of Julia, she didn't seem to mind that much however. ((After all, if you were a mother wouldn't you be overprotective of your only child or at least, protect them to some extent?)) Whenever Mel and Julia were at home, the lamia usually did what she normally did, read. She read books on various subjects but most of all, magic. She had to develop her magic to a certain extent to even become a member. Since then, she's been studying magic day and night, to build up her magic. Magic itself is something that is limitless, one can never stop learning about that. Life for Mel and Julia was relatively peaceful for a while but the peacefulness came to an end with the threat of another attack from the Ryuyaki tribe.

Several members within the council were very worried, they didn't think the Ryuyaki tribe would attempt another attack, not after the barrier was erected. The head mage of the council was silent before speaking, he figured the the Ryuyaki naga tribe was simply biding thier time, planning. And it seems as if they've figured out that they've simply been using a distortion barrier to hide Felox. The Ryuyaki tribe are very teritorrial, they attacked Felox twice in the past for one reason, to take control over the village! The head mage, seeing how grim the situation was had no choice but to declare war against the Ryuyaki tribe. If they didn't then Felox would fall under the control their control. Mel was the most concerned in this situation, she'd fight but she had someone that she cared about, someone who couldn't exactly fight in this dire time, Julia!

The motherly lamia then pondered to herself, should she flee with her daughter, flee somewhere safe? Mel then made her decision, she'd depart Felox with her daughter to avoid the impeding battle between her village of the Ryuyaki tribe. She hoped that her village would be victories over the attacking naga tribe. The two traveled through the Taelyn Forest for a while before they came to a modest forest clearing. Here, one could that a village was here. It wasn't Felox but it'd be home for Melanie and her daughter, Julia. The two now reside within this small village in the Taelyn Forest. Mel can be found at her home in the village, studying magic and practicing it. When she isn't reading about magic, she tends to read about various wordly subjects. When she's out, the tends to wander about the village that she lives in, helping those in need. After all, she's a kind, caring, sweet and motherly lamia to those she meet and those close to her like her daughter, Julia. One thing is certain, that is something that'll never change.

Personality Melanie is a lamia who is caring to her daughter and other people and is quite hard to anger, but if one does anger her then watch out! She'll coil up the one that angered her and she'll squeeze them to the point where one would pass out, other than that, she is quite lazy when nothing is happening and is often seen lounging about when that happens.

Abitilies

Strength: Melanie is quite strong, when she coils one up, she can squeeze them to the point where they'll pass out, but if she's angry then can keep squeezing to the point of breaking bones and even death.

Speed: Melanie is deceptively fast and can easily outspeed even the quickest of prey, if this lamia is chasing after you then good luck, its nearly impossible if not impossible to outrun her.

Magical Immunity: Thanks to the choker that she wears, magic won't have any effect on her, but it will have an effect on her if for some reason, she is willing.

Reform: Her choker allows her to reform herself and others with relative ease.

Belongings Sapphire Choker: Around Melanie's neck there would be a black choker with a beautiful sapphire embedded into it, This is a memento of sorts from her past, she rarely takes it off and when she does, she hides it well so that one can't find it and steal it.
