Melaerca is a light-based creature, but very much solid.
In fact, he's also quite bendable. But that's another thing entirely.
A rather large wyvern, measuring somewhere around 46 feet in length from nose to tailbase, he's a bit of a playboy, if you give him a suitable playmate.
In terms of his element, it makes him fast on his feet and powerful during daylight hours or with a strong source of it, as he can reflect and refract light to a whim. Meaning he can, literally, shoot lasers, when required. Don't think that he's always going to be Firin' his lazor, though, he's more likely to simply focus the sun on himself or a fellow reptile, to aid in sunbathing.
Now, it comes to the matter of diet. Depending on his mood, he will eat most anything he gets the chance to, though he prefers willing prey.
He understands the basics of common society, but, as with many other drakes, disregards them. Often speaking draconic to confuse or insult others, simply for his amusement.
Up close, by scent there is no mistaking him for the so called weaker sex. A definitive funk of maleness is often around him, which may arouse certain feelings, positive or negative.
Also, his junk is nice and ridged, thick ones that are just soft enough not to rip. In addition it retracts into a sheath full of musky oily slime, to keep it well lubricated and ready. He also enjoys shoving hspless victims in with the slime there.
