Living

Growing up in a small town is what it's chalked up to be. Everyone knows each other and that means everyone is in each others business, which was not ideal for Megumi. You see she had plans, to be someone and go somewhere and simply get out of this awful little town. She wanted to be an actress and go to the big city to start her career. But for now she was stuck here in this town. She thought she was better than everyone else though, she always dressed up in dresses and wore heels and did her hair up, and people thought she was odd for that. Of course she hated those people.

And this was her life, everyone talked about her, the hot headed girl who thought she was better than the rest. People teased her all the time, of course it was in good fun, but she didn't know that, she thought they were being sincere. This all changed though when someone moved into the large manor up the state. The rich and the noble, her curiosity was peaked and she went to go check it out...that's when her life was changed forever.

Resurrection

Megumi couldn't remember much when she left the large estate, only that the woman of the manor was beautiful, and something was very wrong with her. Her skin was becoming paler by the second and she felt sick to her stomach. Not knowing what to do her parents called the doctor over, she was diagnosed was Anemia. Thinking it would pass her parents kept her in bed and thanked the doctor, but the next day would lead to something no one expected.

She died. Megumi was gone from this world and funeral was held for her. The entire town came to it, all of them confused and saddened by this, none of them thought something like this could happen, especially to someone so young. That night when the funeral ended her body seemed to jolt back to life. Not knowing what was going on she began knocking on her coffin, she was sealed in the ground and very weak. She knew if she didn't get out soon she would die, again. Lucky for her, someone came to her aide. She recognized the man who dug her up from the ground, it was a servant of the estate. He explained things rather quickly to her.



"You are the undead, a Shiki, a vampire if you will. We all are, everyone in that estate up there. You were one of the lucky ones, you turned instead of just dying. Now come with us and we will protect you, you will be one of our own.

So this was her life now? The life of a vampire? Well it beat being a nobody in this town, perhaps this would lead to something even greater.


To kill a vampire

Life was pretty good for the newly turned Vampire. She had a new family and soon all of the village was being turned into vampires, just like her. If things carried on like this her entire town would be full of vampires, and that was better than what they were now, nothing but stuck up humans who only thought about themselves. Things would be taking a turn for the worst though. The people of the town caught wind of what was going on, they had even caught the head of the estate, and now they were out to kill the remainder of the vampires. It was fight between the living and the dead. And Megumi truly wanted nothing to do with it, she simply wanted to run and get as far away as she could.

As the chaos ensued and the village burned Megumi sprinted and made a break away from the village. She was in the clear, her exit was right there, she could start over far away from here. But life was not that easy for her. She was caught in the middle of the field, large tractor headlights aimed on her, and before she knew it she was surrounded by angry humans, all holding stakes in their hands. They didn't even give her a chance to speak. The tractor ran her over and crushed her. But that wasn't enough to kill her. She beg and pleaded for her life, hoping to get away, pleading, telling them she would never come back. But they didn't listen. Megumi was broken and they killed her, letting her body rot the moment the sun would rise.



Awakening in the Abyss

And so that ended Megumi, or so she thought. Lucky for her someone was looking out for her. And that someone was Victoria_Hall, the one who rules over the Dark_Abyss. She couldn't bare to see this to happen to Megumi. In the end Megumi was only doing what she thought was right. She was a vampire, she had to feed on others to survive. Sure she may enjoyed it more than others, but it was something she had to do. She learned that day that humans would never accept change, they were hellbent on destroying anything that was different, and that was fine with her, because now she was out for something much worse than revenge.

Victoria found this delightful. Megumi had snapped, she had thrown all logic away and was now fully insane. So of course Victoria saved her and brought her back as part of her own. At least here Megumi would be safe and she could go out and do as she pleased, even if that was simply going out and devouring every human she saw. Victoria had no problem with it, and neither did Megumi. This was her life now, a vengeful vampire that had snapped when she learned the true nature of humanity.

Quick notes

Megumi is a fan character from the Anime Shiki.

She was never really a nice girl even in her living girls, she is quite rude and obnoxious. On top of that she loves the smell and site of blood.

She has gone slightly insane and has found new horrendous ways to kill people.
