Maya Enya, the Heroine of BoneYard_Academy!

The Story of a Girl who is not so human.

Half human to be exact. While her mother is a demon, her father, not so much. Maya doesn't even know her father, all she knows is he was a human and her mother does not like to talk about it. Now being half demon is not unheard of but it's not looked well upon. Many demons look down on Maya and consider her way beneath them, both in strength and who she simply truly is. For most of her life she has been outcast and never really had many friends. For awhile her mother actually sent her to a human school thinking she might fit in better. And for the most part she did. Though Maya didn't do much there, she simply existed. She never made a wave and she was too scared to get close to anyone out of fear that they would uncover what she truly was. On the surface Maya looked human but at certain times her true nature showed and if anyone saw her they would run in the opposite direction of her.

When Maya shows off her true self horns grow from her head and she even grows a tail, if she is truly enraged our even simply just taps into her true potential, massive black wings sprout from her back. To the average human she may look terrifying, where she is from it's just another day.

The BoneYard_Academy

Be it with demons, or other humans Maya always felt off. Among demons she was always mocked and not taken seriously. Though when she was with humans she always felt on edge, never wanting people to get close to her or know her. And she thought this was how her life was going to be for the rest of days. That was until the BoneYard opened up. A safe haven if you will. Almost a half way house. It was a school for demons who mostly lived in the human world. Of course she was skeptical, thinking it was going to be the same as before, people who mock her and insult her. She grew curious though and decided to take a tour of the school, only to see everyone there looked human. She quickly learned the rule of thumb here was to remain in your human form at all times since the school operated in the human plain.

It was love at first sight. Maya didn't look back since that day. Sure she deals with some rude people from time to time and some mocking, but who doesn't? it's nowhere as bad as it was before. She blends in here, people don't know she is only half a demon since everyone has to keep on their human guise. Maya has even moved into the Academy and has her own dorm, it seems things were finally turning around for the girl.

Shy with Fire

Time has passed and Maya has settled in. She participates in classes and even has friends, she was finally living the normal life of a girl. Of course Maya is not the most popular girl in school meaning she has to deal with the populars from time to time and their teasing, but she does her best not to let it get to her. Among those she doesn't know Maya is rather shy and doesn't say much. It isn't until she gets to know you that she will open up. When insulted she does her best to hold her ground, even though she may be shaking on the inside her eyes will be lit with fire. Though even with her friends she can come off cold, saying one thing but meaning another. Over the years she has built up this false confidence in herself, but at the end of the day she simply wants to be loved for who she is. Even if she is too stubborn to let people in.

Maya isn't afraid to fight. Be with an enemy or simply another student, if the situation calls for it her wings will sprout and her horns will grow and those emerald eyes of hers will turn scarlet. In her demonic form she has the ability to control and manipulate fire. For the most part she simply summons from her hands and throws it at her foes like a grenade. Though she has been known to breath it out of her mouth from time to time.

Being a demon means Maya has some access to some pretty neat tricks. Be it speed, strength, flight, or even shrinking people. That's right you read that correctly. Be it a secret technique or something from her moms side of the family. Maya's kisses can be quite dangerous, you see when she locks lips with you she is able to change your size at will. But of course she can control when she wants to shrink people....well most of the time.

What does she do with micros you ask?

Well anything! If she has a crush on you, she might tease you and simply play with you, or even make you worship her. It's safe to say she has something off a Goddess complex when she has someone at her mercy. If she runs into someone she doesn't like, she might simply gobble you down and call it a day.

In her human form she stands 5'6, when she lets her demon form she grows to about 5'10

She has the power to control and manipulate fire.

Though she may come off strong and hot headed she is actually a rather shy and quiet girl.

Maya attends the BoneYard_Academy and lives their as well.

Her special power? Shrinking people with a simple kiss.
