Matsu_Higai

Matsu was born and raised in Japan, in a low-class working family. The country he grew up in had made tremendous advancements in the last decades, and on a global scale, the nation was leading in many high-tech fields, such as computer hardware, and software. Although his parents didn't have a lot of money, his father being a "workslave" for the megacorp Renraku Computer Systems. In Japan, tradition and the (often just as a facade) preservation of honor, social status and "keeping your face" is highly important. As such, you are expected to fit in, do your duty, get a job and give your best for the sake of your family, but also your employer.

So, when he got older, Matsu was supposed to go to university, get a nice degree, find a reliable company, and all that. But the blonde boy was never one that strived to just be a conformist. He wanted to do what he liked, not what society expected of him. He always was a bit eccentric, whether in his girlish behavior and love for clothes normally not intended for guys, or in his nerdyness. An almost picture-book like Otaku, Matsu loved tech and everything related to computers, but also anime and manga, old films and video games, tabletop, and so on.

Luckily, this side of him had a practical value for society - he was excellent in the maintenance of all sorts of gadgets and technical applications, and he had programming skills. Just for fun, Matsu took a test he found in the Matrix (the "internet" of the future), and his scores were so high that he got a scholarship from a renown, foreign university in computer science. His high school diploma wasn't that impressive, but it was enough (albeit barely) to be accepted, and Matsu was relatively competent in English. The boy saw it as a possibility to do something he liked, and for his family, this was a one in a lifetime chance for their son to get a qualified, university level education - they were too poor to finance it themselves.

18 years old, Matsu travelled abroad, and began his studies. And since this, unlike school, was something he was enthusiastic about, he actually had pretty good grades. For one year, things were going well. But then, as Matsu refined his skills, the boy had a rather daring idea. Instead of studying for the next exam, he just spent the time watching old retro movies - to pass the test, he wanted to hack into the security system of the university, and download the answer sheet. Matsu overestimated his own abilities though - he was good, but not a professional yet. One of the security deckers of the university noticed his intrusion, and not only stopped it, but identified the attacker. Matsu got promptly expelled without a degree, and had no idea what to do next.

He didn't want to return home, he hated the idea of ending like his father, a hard-working yet ultimately poor and unhappy man not having any dreams and ambitions. Besides, he'd be a disgrace to his family, would have a hard time finding any legal job, and be a social pariah. After a couple of days, Matsu met someone in a cyber bar that recognized his talents. He got in contact with a so-called "fixer", the people that work as intermediate between shadowrunners (mercenaries for shady or illegal contracts, basically) and corporations that needed to get something done that would cast a bad light on them in the best case, or damage them in the worst case if they got caught.

Matsu had heard some rumors before, enough to know the work would be dangerous - and often illegal. But he took the offer, not seeing any other way. The boy used his vast knowledge and skills of computer and security systems for various small tasks at first, hacking into low-security networks, deleting the data in the memory of cameras, developing intrusian software and the like. It worked out well enough, and Matsu soon didn't miss his old life anymore, giving up his System Identification Number and aquiring a fake SIN, his ID. He also paired up with an ex-cop called Ashlee_Sterling for various jobs and runs. The duo harmonized rather well - in fact, they soon became friends. Sometimes more, as Ashhlee and Matsu got intimate a couple times, not really starting a relationship but rather being "friends with benefits".

Two years ago, as Matsu was 20 years old, he and Ashlee paired up with an elven, russian street samurai called Natasha, and her elven mage friend called Chrystal. The fixer had assembled them for a more complicated run that required a combination of brawl and brawn - and the group did it's job perfectly. The four decided that they were a really good team, and since then, have been 'together' for the long-term, not just for a single contract. Taking two letters from each member, they called themselves "NaChAsMa" and even rented a place to live and relax in. Matsu usually operates under the alias of "Tech Wiz".

Matsu is a young, rather cute and alluring human boy. He only stands at a height of five feet and three inches, and has a slender, effeminate body. His slim form, tender chest, adorable face and long blonde hair make him borderline trappy, able to be mistaken for a girl at a first glance. His hips are somewhat well-developed, and he has a nice, meaty behind. While his natural eye color is brown, he wears contact lenses in a lush purple hue.

His attire further strengthens the image as a cute, girly femboy - Matsu adores cutesy, tight clothes that aren't originally meant to be worn by a guy. Specifically, he has a big fetish for spandex and latex, the later even more than the former. Maybe it's to mimick one of his favorite films, the retro movie "Kill Bill", but he picked up the habit of wearing latex bodysuits, usually in black, yellow or white. He dons himself in the tight, form-fitting material, presenting his body without too many hesitations, just wearing a skimpy pair of pink panties underneath.

Usually, Matsu is not involved in situations that involve gunfights, but just in case, he has actually suits that are upgraded with ablative gel-packs, giving him some protection against gunshots during missions where he has to infiltrate personallly. He is absolutely awful with firearms himself though, and so he relies on his comrades in that aspect. To carry out his part of the job, Matsu carries a variety of high-tech gadgets with him, including a heavily modified commlink. Also, to access devices that have no wifi-connection, Matsu has a datajack embedded in the back of his head, a small port hooked up to his PAN to connect cables or memory sticks to.

Matsu is a full-blown, unadulterated nerd. He geeks out over old computer parts, high tech gadgets, retro tv shows and trids, old and new video games, manga, anime, miniatures, and so on. He is a bit shy, not really antisocial or introvert, although he often prefers to spend time logged into the matrix or watching a film, rather than meet people or go to clubs and bars. His passion are computers and computer systems, and not only does he enjoy tinkering around with parts, but he also taught himself how to build hardware, and how to program and write software.

Alongside with his clever, intelligent mind, and usually being able to react quickly to a changing situation, this makes for a talented hacker. He didn't strive to get this sort of profession, but it suits him, and earns him money, so he embraces that. Matsu revolted against the strict conventions, rules and the social norms in his home country, and so he has no problem that he is doing illegal things that society condems. He likes to stand out, and is a bit eccentric, such as in the choice of his clothes. He doesn't really hate the modern world, it's more that he is trying to find a place in it, withoug being 'mainstream'. He goes along well with the other team members who often are cast out from society as well.

Although Matsu himself doesn't really use violence (he sucks with guns anyway, and is physically meek), he has a neutral point when it comes to his group using it now and then. Matsu just accepts that sometimes, they have to do certain things for a contract, that something can go wrong, or that they have to fight their way out of a situation. Although he is a bit shy and hesitant in public, despite his flashy attire, in private he is more relaxed and open-minded. Specifically, Matsu is not opposed to some naughty fun time, having a particularly soft spot if it involves latex stuff, the two lovers rubbing against one another - and domination, especially by a nice girl if he is on the receiving end.

Matsu also is vore-capable, but he is rather timid and actually prefers regular food, doing this only rarely, or as a method of last resort.

As mentioned, Matsu has some outfits that provide limited protection against bullets, not enough to withstand high caliber weapons or rapid fire, but it might shrug off a pistol or submachine gun, if he doesn't get hit too often. Unlike Ashlee or Natasha who use weapons, and Chrystal who uses her magic, Matsu has virtually no means of self-defense in physical combat - unless he maybe can shut down someone's weapon computer or block their cybereyes. He'd be more dangerous to his comrades with a firearm, and he has no skill in martial arts, so he just leaves that to the others. However, he makes up for that with his outstanding hacking skills - he can break into most systems, often infiltrating them without the security noticing he is even there at all. Matsu can repair most technical parts, if they are related to electronics and computer science, and he also has programming skills, in fact, he wrote most of his hacking programs himself.

Matsu also heavily modified and upgraded his commlink, so now he has a state-of-the-art personal computer that beats those sold in stores by a mile. While Matsu is physically weak, and not really charismatic, he at least is very intelligent and clever. The witty boy has a fast-thinking, analytical mind and keeps calm in a dangerous, hectic situation, relying on his skills to finish a hack or disable security measures. Matsu speaks Japanese as his mother tongue, but is quite proficient and fluent in English as well. Furthermore, thanks to his interest and occupation as decker / hacker, Matsu has a vast knowledge of the Matrix ("internet") and knows various hidden sites that are frequent meeting spots for hackers and the like.

Also, after he and his collegues accidentally got into contact with an experimental chemical during a run gone wrong, Matsu found he has gotten another skill of a different sort. His body got relatively stretchy and flexible, and his digestive tract got stronger and more resilient, allowing him to devour food in person-sized quantities. While Matsu is not exceptionally skilled, and doesn't have a predatory mindset, he has vorish abilities, and might use them if the situation calls for it.
