Mata belongs to a human named Lucy, her newest owner, after her old ones, an adventuring group, were devoured by a pitcher Alraune. She used to be a mascot for the group, but now Lucy Jinghorn has tasked her with hunting mice in her house. A simple buy enjoyable life for a catgirl.
Mata is simple, only able to speak basic, broken English, and not able to understand advanced one, she is also mostly illiterate and cannot write at all. She has no notable skills as she was never trained with any, though could be.
She is not totally useless, and while she cannot cook, or clean or such does however have some low-leveled training by her former owners, and can do basic adventuring and fighting. she uses her claws and teeth when in combat, and when her life, or those aorund her, are endangered, goes into a much more agile and sly mindset, but can only sustained this "heightened" state, sometimes known as "Cat-burglar mode" for short time periods. She is extemely agile and capable of getting into tight spaces. with training she would make an effective thief.
Mata acts mostly like a simple pet, being hedonistic and seeking pleasures, and only thinking with her basic needs. She doesn't know any better, but could learn to if someone put the effort in.
Primairlly she is a mouse hunter kitty. hired out to clear houses and businesses of micro-mice
She was later kicked out of the rtibe and Abandoned because she’d been keeping several mice she found cute as pets
She now wanders alone and confused looking for a new home
