What is a Maid fairy?

Fata Puella or The 'Maid Fairy' is actually a sub species of the ever present Fata Vulgaris or the 'Common Fairy'. Where they have similarities in body type and hair color, the differences become quite apparent in preferred living conditions, mannerisms and abilities.

Where the common fairy tends to be a prank-loving forest dweller, the Maid fairy prefers to live in city or village settings, especially loving it if they are allowed into a home, and this is often allowed to happen due to the nature of the fairies themselves.

One would normally think allowing a fey into one's home is tandamount to craziness. The Maid Fairy breaks this trend though. Once they are allowed into a home, they become completely subservient to the person who allowed them into the home, and only them. Some call it an instinctual reaction, others a sort of magical geas. In any case, this usually becomes a very lucrative life for both fairy and human, as the human gets a little helper around the house, and the fairy gets the feeling of satisfaction that seems to be hard wired into their brains when it comes to servitude....and the servitude is absolute...they -will- do whatever they are asked with a sweet smile on their face.

...Yes, this gets them into trouble with perverts...though if they are asked to do something completely beyond their nature, like harming themselves and such, they will become scared and beg to not do it...but if they are firmly spoken to...they will do it....many a maid fairy have killed themselves in this manner, due to less then scrupulous individuals abusing that nature.

There is an axiom to this servitude though, if there is more then one member in the household, the fairy will be subjective, preferring to listen to the commands of a female over a male, and if they are harmed, they will switch who they listen to, though only after they are pushed past their limits.

Powers

Charm: Just as all fairies have a form of charming, Maid fairies too have a form of charm, though theirs is very specialized. If they invoke their charm, their 'cuteness' increases. People find it impossible to find the fairy adorable and all they will want to do is hug them and take care of them. This charm, naturally, is extra powerful against females

Dust: Their dust is actually rather useful, but also benign compared to most fairy dusts. The maid fairy's dust literally is a powerful cleaning agent, able to be used to clean anything from clothes to wood to metal, it will never damage the thing its cleaning, and will restore to like new status, as long as its not scratched of course.


Backstory

Marsi is an abandoned maid...Well, more like an escaped maid. She had been living with a family for some time, but after a number of less then enjoyable experiences, her geas finally broke out of literal self preservation, and she left the home in the middle of the night, before she could be ordered to stay....or worse...

Needless to say the moment she escaped, she flew and kept on flying till she didn't even know where she was...and that brings us to today, with Marsi trying to find a new home.
