Marlyne

Marlyne is a 18 year old, or rather just very ambiguously aged, transient with a backpack who seems to have no home nor will or memory to find or remember it. She seems quite empty of memories but hardly in a noticeable way. She occasionally has memories of falling off cliffs or being trapped, but these fade away after awhile. Whenever she has these memories, she usually has just woken up on a well worn forest path. The farthest thing she can remember is passing through what she calls the Grey Town.

She knows its not her home, but she wants to find it regardless.

She may also be lacking in the soul department. Unsurprising with the pale gray dead fish eyes she has, covered by long brown hair. She's very small and on the thinner side, something you would expect from a wanderer. The clothes she wears rarely vary from a blouse, thin jacket, a skirt, and some trainers.

To put it simply, Marlyne is a sort of Paradox. The fact is she never existed before a certain point, and she never exists in the future. Marlyne will not age, because she does not exist in time's view. She can provide a filling meal, many children, but when she dies, she will reawaken with only a faint recollection of her previous paradox, and be fated to forget again. She exists, and yet never has. One might say she is the Universe experiencing itself subjectively, or subjectivity experiencing the Universe. Others would say she is the remnant of a reality which has been devoured. Or a construct created from where the different fabrics of worlds meet. Whatever she is, it isn't very pleasant. She could, perhaps, even be more of a face of a legion.

What is known is that some of the children she has had have bizarre qualities occasionally, such as her beloved son Elam.

Also, she doesn't seem to bleed, which is both curious and rather horrifying. Spindly shadows have been seen leaking out, spindly shadows that laugh.
