It's wise to be wary of girls like Mari. They're the sorts that like to tie people up in their own 'strings' and leave them hanging like limp marionettes.
Marionetta's life started out simple enough. She was well-loved (but rather sheltered) by her father, mother, and her two younger brothers, she did well enough in school, and managed to hold a modest amount of popularity, not entirely adored, but liked enough. Things remained relatively pleasant until she hit college, and what she referred to as her 'second puberty'. Her chest and hips began to swell and she went from looking like a cute teen to a rather developed woman quickly, and many on her campus quickly caught on to the change. It was far too rapid to be anything natural, and, well, anyone guessing as such would be right on the money.
It's honestly no coincidence that her siblings went missing right before the change, and that the sweet girl had suddenly taken a liking to becoming even more sociable than before. Given where she was, word got around that she was a maneater fairly quickly, but that didn't stop her habit, or anyone that swung her way from taking interest. Still, mundane, simple hunts could get boring after a time, and while she still indulges in them, she's learned that playing with the emotions of others prior to their inevitable consumption is a far more fun way to go about it. Teasing, tormenting, taunting... It's all fun and games to her, and it'll probably remain that way until she's put down a peg. Still, she seems to be a nice enough person to approach, and will likely continue to seem just as pleasant until one ends up gurgling away.
She has a few anatomical secrets aside, but we'll get to those soon enough... Not that you could see them when she has a shirt on, anyway.
The secret: She has lipples. You know, mouths for nipples. Big, pouty-lipped ones, too. We'll get a bit more detailed on that later. You should just know that it's not her only method of consuming people, but it's a damned effective one and she'll utilize it to its best effect.
