Marija is a thirteen foot tall shiny Dhelmise demi, cursed with the burden of
lugging around an anchor where her dominant hand used to be. Before she died and became a Dhelmise, she was a human pirate captain who was far too hedonistic and selfish for her crew to handle. When they eventually mutinied against her, they tied her down to the ship's anchor and cast her into the depths of the ocean below, believing to finally be rid of her. But it wasn't that easy. Her soul refused to die even after her body gave out, and she eventually returned in the body of a Dhelmise to
seek revenge on those who had killed her.
However, as she currently is, carrying out such an act is far too difficult, and she's beenseeking some way to remove herself of whatever curse seems to have plagued her. Which includes begrudgingly trying to redeem herself for her horrible actions in her past life.
