Each year she appears earlier and earlier, not of her own accord, but because of the commercialisation of what we call Christmas. She was born as a religious combatant against a pagan holiday and as such, was made to be stronger and more festive than those holidays. Therefore, she assimilated many of the other solstice traditions (Like the tree, the Holly, the singing, and gift giving.) Mari's only goal is to spread cheer and good tidings to all she meets (occasionally this is whether they like it or not).
