This one, this Demon Sage, carved a jeweled realm in the Outer Dark, in a realm of demons and inhuman horrors. He is Manetho, one of the mightiest scions of time lost and fallen Stygia!
Still, the casual visitor, of which none remain visitors for long, may ask, what is the realms of the Dark Dominions? It is a series of worlds, wrapped in jeweled darkness, nearly twenty in all, that form his bastion of power. On each, great rituals chant without cease, as power flows into their master, his power augmented by their faith. Each world is strange and dangerous, the humans transplanted there having been altered in subtle and unfathomable ways, even as they struggle besides monsters and demons.
Truthfully, while not the burning realm of Hell, the False Teacher Paul would take accounts of some of the worlds, and Dante would further comprise them into circles of the Inferno.
Still, Manetho is hardly some plotting, scheming beast, for he does not see the need to stage demonic assistance to corrupt humanity, as for the most part, they seem to have surpassed any expectations they could have of them. No, his gaze is elsewhere, and not on the Earth, backwater that it is. No, he seeks to safeguard his worlds from other powers in the darkness, even as some mortals make deals and pacts with underlings.... and himself.
