Magnus Krizalid was always someone who had a burning ambition. To prove that the It was indeed the mind that would always vanquish the sword. With so many warriors, gladiators and brutes on battlefields. It was soon apparent that they were worthless without someone capable of strategically commanding them. This is how Magnus has achieved his fame. By acting as a tactician, he was quickly realized as a vital essential for any party. This was not to say that he was incapable of defending himself. While His physical strength was nothing to brag about and he didn't know any spells... he did have one trick up his sleeve.Along with his falcon, Apollo, There is actually one spell that Magnus knows. A rare type of summoning magic which he had called "The Tactician's Gambit." With this magic, Magnus is able to summon stone soldiers that are very similar to those you would find in Chess. Each type acting very uniquely. The only restriction is that the pieces he summon at once cannot exceed the Value of 9.

Pawn (1 point) "Basic footsoldiers armed with a single sword. While they can be defeated alone rather easily by a skilled warrior, multiple at once will prove to be quite the challenge."


Knight (3 points) "Calverymen on horseback whose mobility was to be reckoned with. their quick movements allow them to be able to skillfully defend Magnus and attack foes."


Bishop (3 points) "Holy Priests that live to heal the wounds of it's allies. While it is unable to revive fallen pieces, it is capable of healing any ally whether it be pieces or humans."


Rook (5 points) "My Personal Favorite. Giant Stone Golems that excell at protection. Should any danger come to me, I am able to immediately switch places with one."


Queen (9 points.) "A Piece that even I am reluctant to use...The Queen the only piece that is not made of stone. She appears to quite young too. She would not speak to me so I assume that is mute. That aside, she is incredibly capable at combat. Perhaps the best I have ever seen. There is something else odd about her however. When she is victorious, she has a strange habit of... eating her foes. Whole."
