Magical Girls - De.Vore City
This is a semi-perma profile where a group of 13 girls in De.Vore City are imbued with Magical Powers and become defenders of the city. Fighting predators and villains who are arising will they manage to defeat the powers of evil or will they be overwhelmed and digested by the foes they encounter.
De.Vore City is a large city think London, NYC or Berlin a sprawling city with alot of people and all of our girls attend The De.Vore City University studying different subjects and were given powers because they were all studying late in the library when 13 magical spirits were released nearby looking for hosts.
The Girls
Name: Clara Serra Martins
Magical Name: Night Guardian Serra
Personality/Type: Perfect and Popular - Clara is well liked at university and things have been going well for her for her entire life so far. She studies Clinical Physiology and was on track to get seeded into a fast track for a Physiology course which is her dream. Sadly her father fell ill so she rejected the offer only for him to pass away leaving her having missed her scholarship and her safety net. Now her perfect behaviour is slightly fractured and she's emotional most of the time.
She spends her time split between being in her magical girl form to fight off the threats in the city, her university course and then she also attends a baking group every Friday. She used to attend a Dance group on Tuesday's and write a blog but has stopped both of these recently.

Description: She wields a shot-gun that she can summon at will and creates an area of nightmares around her making it hard to spot where she is and letting her distract others as she gets close and advances. This aura effects her allies as well so she only uses it as a last resort.

Personality/Type: Poor Worker - Azure Hawkins is currently studying Clinical Social Work at the moment at University but she has found herself the sort of person who has a really hard time focussing now that she is living alone. She hasn't made many friends and she is starting to feel aimless and while she's nice to speak to she's the sort of person who keeps her truth close to her chest. She wishes she was more motivated or had the means to help people without having to do all this studying.... except now she does!
But having this power hasn't solved all her problems. Like all the magical girls she is a kind person deep down and while using her illusions she accidently scared a gangster into the road causing them to be hit by a truck. She's finding it hard to lean into the escapism of her new powers after that happened.

Description: She wields a pen and a notepad. The things that she draws on the notepad appear as illusions that can be used to befuddle and trick her enemies generally driving them into traps or scaring them away. She isn't the sort of magical girl who can go head to head with a foe on her own.

Personality/Type: Pop Idol - Mia Parra is studying Sociology at University but is better known for her Pop Idol life. Mia is a talented singer and has been having trouble with spreading her time already and is always in a rush. She has found things even harder since she accepted the powers of a magical spirit and keeping her identity secret is getting tricky.

Description: Mia is a fast moving Magical Girl who can summon sweets and cakes at will. This part of her power isn't particularly useful for fighting foes but she can also summon a rocket launcher a terrifyingly deadly weapon that she uses. She is well known for running into fights firing the rocket launcher and then running off. (She doesn't fight human foes only monsters)

- Dash Strike: She can cross a distance of 70 metres in a second to deliver a deadly blow or to avoid one of her own explosions.
- Follow-up: After she lands a hit she can attack again closing the distance rapidly to delivery volleys of missiles to dangerous monsters.

Personality/Type: Blazing Heroine - Rene is a powerful magical girl who has always been a little bit of a hot-head. She used to get into fights alot as her older brother used to be picked on alot and she took alot of self-defense classes as well. She studies Criminology and is generally fairly popular although she's not concerned with all that bullshit normally. She had a friend of hers disappear recently and accepted her pact after learning that she was snatched by a monster.
She is one of those people who doesn't prioritize herself enough and she spends alot of time on patrol or helping others and not enough time working on her course. Even worse she's having terrifying nightmares of a horrible monster rising and ending the world that make her want to train her magic more.

Marionette: She can take control of willing people to pilot their bodies. Civilian's in danger can suddenly turn into highly skilled warriors if she is present.

Personality/Type: Insecure - Lily Abbott is studying Biology at University with the aim of one day becoming a vetenarian. She is considered a bubbly person by most but those who know her well know that she is constantly second guessing herself and requires frequent confirmation and validation from others to make sure that she is liked.
Getting her powers have had the opposite to the intended effect just making her feel worse about herself and more reliant on her powers. She wants to patrol less to take control of her normal life first but she can't leave monsters roaming the streets. She tries to spend as much time as possible at the animal shelter.

Personality/Type: Blazing Heroine - Sonia Alberto is the daughter of the cities DA Elwin Alberto and she is known for being tough on crime but also being a big part of the anti-predator/monster legislation in the city that has been a blessing for alot of the more vulnerable members of the cities population. When she was studying Philosophy in the library and was approached by a spirit guardian she couldn't say no after all if she can help the city like her mother then she has to.
She never backs down from a fight and while she can seem confrontational she doesn't start fights unless she's pushed too far. In her daily life she is well liked with a close knit group of friends who come to self defence class with her and also help with protests she organizes in the predator centric areas of the city.

Personality/Type: Arrogant Queen - Terra Wilder comes from a rich family and has got a scholarship to the school. She has a secret which is that she runs an onlyfans account although avoids showing her face and she is a secret exhibtionist. She was recently almost found out by a fan who luckily was eaten by a monster the day before they were supposed to meet up but she hated that feeling of powerlessness that came with that. She currently studies Law.
She isn't having any issues being a magical girl patrolling at night and being careful to prioritize her life before fighting monsters making the time for training and combat enhancement as well. She doesn't think much of the other girls and isn't interested in forming any teams.

She is a total nerd who has been looking into the monsters and disappearances since before she got the powers of a magical girl and is neglecting her real life in order to be out and about as Healing Angel Grey and help people.
She has a few key weaknesses one of her worst being how much she fantasises about losing to her enemies but when push comes to shove she normally makes the right decision. She has a close knit group of friends and loves nerdy things.
