Maeven

"Sure, she'll squeeze you in. Seven good?"

Why do all the pretty ones take up the role of secretary? Admittedly, it seems to be a job that requires a bit of a face, seeing as they are the first line between their employers and potential clients. Maeven seems to be a favorite amongst this particular class of workers here, though due to the dog-eat-dog nature of the very town he lives in, he sadly has to relocate once every few months. No one really sees him as treacherous or traitorous for doing so, though. Elf's gotta eat.

Oh, yeah, we forgot to mention that, didn't we? Maeven's an elf, and admittedly a rather young one at that, somewhere in his early thirties. He grew up here in the Nexus, raised by human parents. The events and conditions that lead to this are, in his opinion, quite unimportant, though in the end he is quite grateful for them. Being an elf brought up in urban society had its ups and downs, but there wasn't much along the lines of discrimination given the area in question, and he learned a few neat tricks for survival that he would not have if he grew up with his birth parents. Granted, he's no legendary hunter or shaman, but his agility remained trained due to his interests in track and gymnastics in school.

Though enough about his high school and college years! What does he do now? Well, as said prior, he usually works as a secretary for certain corporations around the area, and he doesn't normally discriminate as to whom his employers are. He's served everyone from Military Contractors to Porn Studios (leading to a few more interesting bits of his past that he tends not to reveal so openly unless in good company). His natural youth and charm often work wonders for his employers, and he tends to put clients into a much better mood prior to allowing them to meet. That being said, he normally keeps his ears hidden, as their presence sometimes evokes odd stares in his current work environment. After all, despite the lack of discrimination in schools and colleges, some will still wrinkle their nose at a 'tree-hugging, dirt-worshiping' elf in the common workplace. But hey, elf's gotta eat.

Which begs another question I'm sure a lot of you are wondering: what is Maeven's opinion on vore? He's passive about it. While he doesn't actively pursue it, he knows it's a reality and a common interest in the environment where he's in, and, again, he's grown up here. It's practically a part of the mandatory curriculum in some schools to learn basic oral vore. He's not really opposed to it, and will even engage in it quite openly and actively as the role of predator, though he more hesitant about taking on the role of prey. He has no real special defenses guaranteeing his safety from digestive acids and the like, after all.

On occasion, he will decide to take trips through the deeper parts of the park. It's nice to get away to a quiet place when no one is watching.
