Madame_Amaryllis

A charming, cunning woman lording over a noble house! Madame Minerva Amaryllis thoroughly enjoys a life she has worked hard to maintain.

A short time after being married to the Lord of the House, just long enough for her to become pregnant and cement good relations with his family, the Lord turned up dead in a river with a bag over his head. While scrutiny was risen against her, over time the public began to accept the truth - he was murdered in cold blood and she got away before she was next.

She has survived a few assassination attempts, though it's mostly due to the company she keeps. A bodyguard or three often stands near her at all times, silent and still unless they must move. One has to wonder if she works sorcery on these men.

She also has a daughter, Lady_Amaryllis. She is a beautiful young lady, in the eyes of most. Minerva can go on and on about how proud she is of her.

Her noble history is written in her home, kept in a book under a glass case. A tale of savage rising and acquainting themselves with the workings of upper society, primarily. It also showcases how the servants were bought ages ago and the families that were born of said servants just became so attached that they were practically a part of the House. Another organ in its working.

Their standing with other houses is well enough, mostly kept at a "befriend then keep at a distance" despite their habit of becoming quite close to rulers. Must be a generational thing.

Occasionally converses with some of the foreign royals in a Cherished_Respite.
