=============== Lyre Broust is the test shooter of the powerful VX Spigot handgun, intended for anti-armor and anti-predator usage. By the time she got to Nexus Park, she had been saddled with over one million dollars in debt, so it's not like she wanted to use it; she's trying to pay her debt off. And no; eating people doesn't do it.
Due to circumstances elaborated below, that outfit of hers is the only one she currently has... and yes, it tends to get dirty quite often. Recently, she was able to get a new set of sleepwear thanks to the works of Sekai Tanzo's friends (or... "friends" if you read her profile), though there's no word out yet on alternate outfits.
Before she came to Nexus Park, she was part of a Private Military Contractor known as ZEAL. ZEAL specialized in dealing voracious predators in war zones, often employing different means of eliminating them. Lyre reached the rank of sergeant and found herself a close circle of friends by the time one fateful assignment came up... she and her squad were sent to deal with a vicious cock vore predator that had taken over half the population of a small city. Sent as bait to lure out the predator, Lyre was successful in helping to bring down the target, but at a cost... she was very nearly killed in the process by transformation into seed, which has led to her present androphobia.
Personality-wise, Lyre is often seen as an aloof woman who doesn't take too much seriously. Or, they see her as a woman with an itchy trigger finger. Overall, she's just generous and utilizes what she has to its fullest, a habit formed from having to manage her debt for so long.
Word of warning: should Lyre ever spend too much time on a single thought, she gains an explosion of strength and goes into a berserk rage. The only way to counteract this is to drop a coin within earshot, seeing as her drive to pay off her debt is strong enough to override other things.
She is girl #6 of ZergAlts. If she bears a striking resemblance to Crowe Broust to certain crowds on the internet, it's somewhat intentional.
