Description

Lynari is a fairy from the forest. Unlike most of her people, she was brave enough to venture out and explore the world. She is extremely whimsical and often appears naive. She's a lover of pranks and often sows mischief among mortals (such as humans) for her own amusement. She often regards mortals as being beneath her. Not in an arrogant fashion, but she simply regards them as "silly". She'd also prefer not to interact directly with whoever hasn't caught her interest, outside of her pranks, hence her conversations with mortals are pretty rare. Non-mortals, however, she's a bit more respectful towards.

Lynari's a bit headstrong and some things she does seems to suggest she has a deathwish (such as hitting on a succubus). This may, however, be a bit of a ruse as she's quite intelligent and very knowledgable in certain areas. On the other hand, her grasp of modern technology is virtually nil. Lynari is also not known to keep secrets (except when it's more amusing to!) and will gladly tell whatever she knows when asked. Of course, she might tell you in a fashion that's totally confusing and non-sensical to anyone but her!


Powers

If the RP is taking place in the City of Heroes universe, then it's quickest to say she's a Grav/TA/Psy Controller.

Otherwise...

Being as old as she is (though still quite young for an immortal fairy), she has a very firm grasp over magical arts. She's capable of utilizing her powers to enchant the arrows of her bow with various effects, such as covering an area with a sticky substance or making an annoying noise. She can also use magic as a bit of a macro-telekinetic ability, primarily by levitating objects. And finally, she's capable of teleporting objects and others. This ability seems to defy physics as she is able to teleport a larger object (or person) into a smaller space. The object or person will be shrunken to comfortably fit in whatever it is they've ended up in, but the moment they enter a large space, they'll immediately regrow enough to fit the new space or back to normal, whichever is smaller.

She also knows a large number of minor spells and cantrips. These include changing the the color of the flame of a candle, summoning butterflies, making her eyes glow for a moment, and other minor effects. These are all mostly just simple tricks from other areas of magic she's unpracticed in and most of them are harmless. The ones that aren't are mostly harmless.

Her magic is typically used for mischievous purposes, but when threatened she can make an aggressor regret it.

Also, needless to say, she can fly.


Other Notes

-This character has been perma-vored and is no longer available for RP.

-Lynari originated in City of Heroes and easily fits in there. Of course, she can be used in other settings too, whether it be modern, medieval, fantasy, what have you. High tech sci-fi might be a little trickier though.

-Be warned: to most, she can be a bit strange with her whimsical nature. If you're out to vore her/get vored by her, it might take some effort!

-I don't RP often on this character since she's a bit challenging for me to play. So, if you like her but never see me on her, just ask me!

-Even if I don't have tags up, feel free to approach me.

-If I'm busy or about to go, that doesn't mean I'm not interested. I may be willing to arrange for a RP at a later time!

-This character actually deviates quite a bit from my own general preferences, oddly enough. But, then again, this is Lynari we're talking about here. I shouldn't be surprised.

-I can be rather shy about approaching people, even if I'm looking at their profile and thinking "Perfect match!" Heck... that probably makes me even shier about it.
