“On a scale of one to ten, it'd be hard to judge about just how much I hate waking up....Somewhere up in the high millions for sure.”
Lydia and the 'Curse'
Lydia. For as long as she can remember, has never been able to catch a break. She
simply gets tossed into one strange situation after another. When she sleeps, or becomes incapacitated for whatever reason. Her body doesn't rest, she doesn't get to experience the delightful world of dreams. Instead, she lives another life. Maybe it's her body in a parallel universe, or maybe experiences of an ancestor. The fact of the matter is, she simply cannot rest.
To hear her explain it would sound like it was coming
directly from the lips of an escaped asylum patient. About the looping path the space time continuum follows, about how she was simply born on an unlucky day under an unlucky set of circumstances that leaves her the one displaced on this continuum. About how she's never been able to properly establish her own 'oneness' thanks to sharing a body with literally thousands of other people.
In reality, the truth of the matter is simple. Lydia shares a direct mental connection with every other 'version' of herself to exist. However, she is the only one aware of this fact. When she awakens in a different body, she takes over and when that body falls asleep, they simply continue on unaware of the intrusion upon their life.
As much as Lydia complains about it, she does have her own 'life'.
Her actual body is 23 years old and she works freelance for a local newspaper. Photos, articles, she dabbles her fingers a little in everything. Anyone would tell you, she's excellent at what she does, how her photos seem to spring from the page; how her words flow so stupendously and always strike home, in both humor and importance and it all stems from her 'curse'. Having lost count long ago, Lydia has several hundred lifetimes of experience in the field.
The curse has left Lydia a little cynical, given her total lack of sleep, It isn't that she's naturally mean; but 23 years without a single proper nap has really taken a toll on her demeanor and this obvious character flaw is reflected in any of the other Lydias she takes over.
As an extension of her inability to sleep, Lydia is often hungry. It's quite often you'll see her
stuffing her face in some manner or another. It's the only way she can really keep her strength up and her body seems to adapt well to such a fact. She doesn't have much fat on her frame to spare; but for the few layers one can find it seems to have smoothly congregated around her rump and thighs.
Character Overview and other tidbits:
Lydia is a character designed to fit into more or less every sort of scene. From fantasy, to sci-fi. The character has the flexibility to do it all. She'll usually carry no special abilities, save for the scene calling for it. (Like being called into the body of a mage or something of that sort.) She -can- die, or at least the body she is currently inside of can die, this action will just return her to her actual body.
Aside from minor differences in appearance from scene to scene, Lydia will likely carry the same personality and recognition of previous encounters. She keeps everything in tact and if she happens to run into a character more than once. She -will- remember them.
In terms of implementing her, I'd be fine with talking a bit about how her character could fit in with yours; even something like the characters having a previous relationship before the change in personality from the different Lydia.
Preferences and junk:
You can find the complete and total rundown of things I'm into and not into at
Tron_Bonne but for a quickish overview.
I'm honestly into a lot of 'out there' things, under the condition it carries a significant difference in size. I'm willing to go so small as to say four or five feet; but generally prefer larger differences. Macro/Micro play would be the top of the chart without a doubt.
Second. Would be death, snuff. Removing the life from Lydia's mortal coil. Whatever you want to call it. Scenes typically carry a greater interest for me if they end in a death. It doesn't have to be via vore. (Which is still a completely valid option.) but instead of the long, bleeding out sort of demise, I like the snap versions. Crushed under a rolling boulder, dropped from large heights, incinerated, vaporized. All of 'em are good.
It should be said. I really dislike playing pred for tired and true ideas. In general I just hate to be the one in the position of power, however; if the idea is good enough even I can be properly motivated to devour someone or any number of things. Still, know that even if your idea is great and I still might not be totally down for it.
My sexual preference is completely straight. However, this preference only extends to sexual actions. Which if they do happen, will again; have a significant difference in size and the male has to be well endowed far beyond average.
As for being killed, or swallowed. I'll take on males and females, I usually skip out on herms but if attention isn't drawn to the fact they have every organ under the sun; I'm accepting.
And one more thing. I absolutely love legs and rumps.
