Character: Luthien is a slender humanoid figure of about five feet in height covered in short fur the color of which varies in shades of grey and has a shine to it, glints of light here and there that tease at the corner of the eye but never come into full view. That fur of his has a gentle, appealing feel to it. His coat is soft as silk and cool like the air after a spring rain. His form is that of a swimmer or runner, with toned and well formed muscle that does not give him the appearance of being powerful, merely healthy. Rounded ears, a luxurious bushy tail, and gray shaded stripes running down his back reveal him to be something akin to a chipmunk. The large bat-like, silvery, and softly furred wings sprouting from his back are often kept folded neatly behind at his sides but are breathtakingly beautiful when spread. The more intimate details of his body are often kept hidden as he does clothe himself in illusory clothing to maintain his modesty most of the time. By all appearances he is wearing a spotlessly clean white toga.
His mannerisms are above all gentle. There is not a single hostile bone in his body toward any manner of creature, even the most wicked man or cruel demon is welcomed in his presence. Serving as a form of comforter, he will gladly console those in distress, heal those who are wounded, feed those who are hungry, and bring peace to those who's time has come. Luthien is bound to his shrine, however, and cannot spread his good will to those beyond his reach. He must be sought out or accidentally stumbled upon, more on that below.
He does have a history. An origin, a reason for being, and to learn these things all one has to do is simply ask.
The Secret Shrine: When out walking through the woodlands, if one should find themselves in need of any sort of help then there is a small chance that they might stumble upon a clearing in the trees where it is always night, where the full moon hangs motionless in the sky and the vast multitude of stars can be seen casting down their light from far far away. In the middle of this clearing there is a small shrine made of marble and granite shaped like a gazebo with an altar in the middle of it. Carvings around the interior show imagery of winged serpents, symbols and runes that bear meanings of both life and death.
In this sacred place there is an enchantment that immediately expels any being that acts with violent intentions. There will be no fighting or combat near the shrine. Though there are the occasional acts of predation it seems mutually consensual when it does happen, and otherwise it is common to see predator and prey creatures residing peacefully side by side with one another.
Roleplay: Due to the nature of this character, he cannot make an approach himself. Therefore when one wishes to approach him it is fully welcomed by the player, be it in public or private. Respect the player's wishes and do not engage in violent behavior when near the shrine as the enchantment around the place does prevent that.
