At least, until you count the fact that there's a cabal bent on overthrowing her planet's hereditary leadership, she's still just a young, naive, relatively powerless princess, and, oh yeah, they know about her while she doesn't know about them. Maybe that's how they got the first blow in, crippling the ship transporting her between worlds and sending her careening through space in a cryopod, with no real hope of survival.
At least, until she wound up here. Survival, then, is much more of a sure thing. Getting home? Not so much.
Stranded light-years from home, Lumie has nothing but the clothes on her back and the crown on her head. And, well, her good looks and her voice, but those aren't worth a star cruiser capable of getting back home! They're not even worth the price of low-class, one-way ticket halfway there. in point of fact, she has NO way to get back home, unless someone offers to TAKE her. In short... she's stuck.
Stuck! That sucks! She can barely eat the local food(for now), she can hardly communicate(seriously, it's awful trying to use charades to communicate), and she sticks out like a sore thumb! Dark worlds have a terrible reputation for tourism for a REASON, what what with tending to cut aliens open after killing them, if the aliens are lucky, so she really would prefer not to wind up on one, and she'd really rather not stay on any stations she winds up on, for other reasons. What's a girl to do?
Well, try not to panic, for one, and hope for the best, for another.
Lumie, at least, DOES have looks on her side. Even if it makes her stand out, she IS attractive. Also, shiny. Where most of her race, the Celesians, is a bit shorter, she's a full five feet six inches tall, making her practically amazonian for her kind. Where they have gray skin(a NICE color of gray, but still, gray), she's shining silver. Her eyes are brighter as well, gleaming green, and her hair is purple and black(which is to say, it starts out black, and changes to purple as it nears the tips, while her bangs are straight-up purple). As well, she's got a slender, lithe, athletic figure, thanks to years of training in various athletics. Add to that an assortment of clothes she managed to keep in her Matter Transposer box, and she's ready for almost any occasion! (... think hammerspace)
Of course, she's ALSO got some other things going for her... her voice can do some amazing things. Mostly, though, it gets her in trouble. Ah, well... at least she's optimistic! And cheerful, and fairly energetic!
