Story
Hippogriffs are proud creatures. Don't take to being insulted well. But that aside Highwing was caught and was going to be sold by poachers. She was lucky to be freed and saved. And after being released, she returned to her nesting grounds, or maybe she stayed around hogwarts. Either way the Hippogriff was happy to return there and nest happily. Maybe you would come for one reason or another?
She is a loving mare even with her past experiences. And maybe one thing she ended up with was an odd ability. one that she doesn't share unless someone approaches. After all Hippogriffs are approached, respected then they approach the quiring party. Highwing is no different in this regard.
What she does have is the ability to speak, the love of keeping others safe in her depths, so no accidental digestion here. Multiple prey like kids playing around her and she may eat them temporarily only to let them out later one way or another, Safe and whole.
