The Gods of Destruction, also known as Destroyers, are deities who destroy planets, races or threats that put in risk the development of their respective universes, as opposed to the Supreme Kais, the Gods of Creation, who create and fill planets with life, in order to maintain the balance of the universe. Along with the Kais, they rule and oversee the formerly eighteen, currently twelve universes, with each universe having its own destroyer.


Beerus is the Destroyer God in Universe 7, the Universe that is home to the legendary super saiyans Goku, Vegeta and the Z-Fighters. Trained and mentored by his Angel Whis he has become not only a god of destruction but one of the most if not the most formidable fo them all. His power and destructive nature no almost no rival and as such the God has grown something of an ego. Enjoying to toy with the worlds inhabitants he visits before destroying their wordls, however his true passion lies in the consumption of planatery delicacies.

Yes Lord Beerus loves nothing more than discovering new and exotic tasting foods so long as they are delicious, often in part to brag to his twin brother the Destroyer God of Universe 6 Champa about how much more superior his Universes culinary diversity is.

As of late Lord Beerus has taken to more violent tastes, consuming people. The Feline-esque Deity can devour prey many times his size and weight whole thanks to his mystical powers and near indestructable body, relishing both in the taste and the feeling that comes from devouring a living being, having them squirm around and struggle once inside, although some mortals in worship and reverence offer themselves to the God quite happily.
