Loch is an assassin, gifted with immortality from forces not of this world. He is a dutiful killer, and a loyal servant to his God of death. When he is given a name to take, he will always ensure their life is brought to a swift, painless end. He takes pride in his work, treating it like a necessary evil, and will often make an effort to ensure a victim's last moments are at least... comfortable.
Despite his grizzly profession, he is very well-mannered and polite. At times, he can even be a bit playful or whimsical with his treatment of others. The knowledge of his immortality has highly affected his behavior with others, as it is hard to take humans seriously when he knows they will simply die while he continues to live. Contrarily, his behavior with fellow immortal or supernatural creatures is a bit more serious.
His God communicates to him through the presence of spectral crows, speaking whispered words in ancient tongues. To see one of these birds is to know that Loch is near. There will typically be two or three perched nearby, or even on his shoulders, when he is present.
