Lily has been on the road of the trainer for quite a while. She may not look capable, but just last year, she had made the Sinnoh regions Lily of The Valley Conference an entire year before Ash even came to Sinnoh. (Years differ from the anime and current chronology.)
She made it to the second round, but was defeated by a girl who looked a lot like Sapphire. She doesn't remember her name, but she can never forget her face. She knows she'll meet her again someday.
She is now on her way to Unova to start a new journey and meet new pokemon.
