Lia is a girl of many faces.

Quite literally.

She could be anyone. The redhead you see here is just the form she has been sticking too lately. She's more than capable of switching it to another. Maybe a blonde. Maybe your neighbor. Maybe your friend that started acting weird for a few days then just disappeared. For you see, Lia is an identity thief in the truest sense of the word.

The term she prefers to use is changeling, however. Able to steal others' appearances to use for her own purposes and you better believe she has quite the selection at this point. It isn't as easy as simply seeing someone to copy them, however. No, the woman needs to understand them at a very intimate level. So she eats them whole! Absorbs their bodies and essence and through it learns to become them. Over time she even can pick up on some of her prey's skills and memories.

While she is not prone to doing it, she is able to sort of...regurgitate former prey. It'd take a lot of convincing and there are some other technical details that Lia hates to delve into, but just because you lost your girlfriend to this cutie that doesn't technically mean she's gone forever. If pressed about the matter, Lia usually makes a comment about some sort of soul prison and brushes the topic off.

What about her past you ask? That is something the girl is happy to go into detail about, though the story changes each time. Lia tends to make up the details on the fly, leaving contridictory statements in her wake. Sometimes she claims to be a mere 16 years old and ran away from home. Others she boasts about being directly involved in WW2. Seeing as she never takes anything seriously, including other people, it's hard to get a real answer out of her.

So that's about it!

Oh, if you start to notice someone in your life acting a bit off, check their belly for a red tattoo. That seems to be the only thing on herself that Lia can't hide or change. A small tell tale that someone's been snatched.
