Leshaya is a wood spirit, akin to that of a greater fairy. She lives deep in the forest, watching keenly over it and natural order within it, quick to notice any disturbance.
It's been many years since humans settled near her forest, so Leshaya is very used to their company. And in time, humans learned to respect her domain as well, even if very few can claim to have actually seen, yet alone known her, and most tales of direct encounters are dismissed as just stories or drunken delusions. But only fools deny the presnese of her will in the woods.

Mischivious by nature, she often plays with humans, sometimes in seemigly meanspirited ways. But unless you insulted or hurt the forest, she will not feel any malice to you. She's just as likely to lead a lost child out of the woods and to their home, as she is to lead them to their doom. It may seem hypocritical to a human mind at times, since her games may lead to one's demise, but a spiritual being views natural order and hierarchy completely differently.
Humans to her are sometimes toys, sometimes friends, sometimes food and there's no contradiction in that for Leshaya.
