Leina Vance Known as the Wandering Warrior (流浪の戦士 Rurō no Senshi?), Leina (レイナ Reina?) is the protagonist of the Queen's Blade series. She is the middle sister of the Vance Family, an aristrocratic family of nobles, and is next in line to be the successor. However, she has no intent of becoming countess, and runs away to venture the outside world and become a warrior like her late mother Maria, eventually becoming a contender of the Queen's Blade tournament. Leina dons silver armor with brown belts across, and is armed with a longsword and a buckler as weapons.

Leina is a young busty female adult with long blond hair tied up in two braids with rings at the end and blue eyes. She is almost exclusively adorned in armor with a distinct breastplate that gives her protection and immunity to certain demonic attacks. On her right arms and neck is a series of long brown straps wrapped around her that dangle about freely. For added protection, she carries a full-arm armored gauntlet on her left arm with a buckler mounted on it

Leina is no doubt a skilled warrior and most definitely a resourceful one. With sword and shield and hand, Leina is the all-around combatant in the Queen's Blade gauntlet. Her breastplate carries magical defensive properties that prevent her from being exposed should she sustain damage in the heat of battle, its durability so great that it can even resist Melona's breast milk. When she has gained the upper hand in a battle, she utilizes her signature move (Dragon Tail) to finish of her opponents in a flash.

Leina was a noblewoman and the middle daughter of a Count and was going to be his heir to his throne in the near future, however Leina hated that life and wanted to be a warrior woman like her mother Maria, she had attempted many times to escape but was always brought back usually by her Older sister Claudette, Leina thanks to a Thief named Risty was able to escape at last, gaining her mothers armour and began on her journey, she briefly travelled with Risty until an event caused Risty to leave as Leina travelled then on her own making friends on her travels and fighting some threats to her life and other things.

Leina can be Naive at times and was a little headstrong charging into battle against stronger opponents and losing badly, and nearly died each time. Cause of that she has wound up in alot of trouble at times but she is kind hearted and will offer at least words of help to troubled people.
