Lefa Sograt is your average young woman in many aspects- she's chosen to be a mage as her profession, as it seems to have become very popular in many places. However, Lefa is not your normal mage- she practices a style that is neither holy nor occult, known to the few that have studied or read about it as 'blue' magic: Simply put, the ability to copy the talents of others in a variety of ways.

Of course, there is a total myriad of blue magic available given it's nigh-boundless requirement of "someone else can do it and you learn", so one might wonder why there are so few blue mages to be seen. Well, that's because the most common method of learning Blue Magic is to be the target of it. In a place like here, that could be fatal.

Lefa herself has taken plenty of time learning how to be a blue mage, and standing outside of the "squishy wizard" archetype, by training and toning her body very well(As you might see!) to be quick and lithe, and avoid oncoming attacks while studying them carefully. She's also more skilled with a knife than a staff, so you might want to be wary of more than a bonk on the head if you attack her!

Blue magic aside, Lefa is a nice girl in most aspects, friendly to people out of habit and happy to sit with people and chat. She's only driven into hard determination when fighting for her life or trying to learn something new! So long as you don't cross her, try to hurt her, or tell her you have a skill she doesn't know, you're likely to make a quick friend.

Currently known Blue Magic:
Observe: Her most common used skill one might mistake for blue magic is not magic at all, but rather to 'observe' opponents, in an attempt to ascertain their skill and power, as well as possibly learn a new blue magic skill without having to actually be close to it! The only downside is that it's rather inaccurate, and rare that she will actually learn much valuable information from this.

Swallow: Lefa is very adamant about keeping how she got this skill a secret. Like many and possibly any predator around, she unhinges her jaw and expands her throat just enough to accommodate an unwary opponent, before... gulp! Best of all, this is a much more solid way of learning new skills instead of watching them, and much safer(for her) than being hit by them. She can simply digest her opponent and learn their skills by force!

History:
Lefa is, to her knowledge, the last surviving member of a people that existed in the lands around Sylx Tower known as Eureka- people who were in her own world beginning to understand Blue Magic for the first time. However, upon the flooding of the world, Eureka caught wind of the influx of water, and rushed up the sealed tower in a desperate bid to save theirselves from the flood. Everyone Lefa saw who was trying to evacuate, however, were killed by the beasts sealed away in the tower. Even her closest friend was swallowed whole by a towering King Behemoth, never to be seen again. Only Lefa seemed to make it to the top of the tower, and saw the cataclysmic flood for herself. With the endless sea in front of her, and the towering beasts of Sylx behind her, she flung herself from the crystal spire and into the sea, throwing her life to chance. She would later awake in Mysidia, an unknown time later, and work to find out where she was in the world, or what world she was in that was no longer flooded... and work to perfect the art of her people so that it would not die, and so that she might strike the beasts of the world back with their own power for what they had wrought.

Description:
For someone considered a mage of any sort, Lefa towers above the average human at a height of 6'4", clad in a flowing cerulean cloak that hides her face and features to the best of her ability. The reason for this is apparent upon close inspection, however- even out of the battlefield, her skin is tinged a deep purple tone, and while she is padded in many areas her limbs have a fairly thick amount of muscle. Her hair spills forth from her hood, strands of silvery-blue silk that blow in the wind and reach, if unimpeded, a good deal of the way down her back. Looking beyond the locks at her brow however, two small horns sprout out and curl back just a bit, having been sanded down by her to keep form impeding her clothing and movement. And having crafted her robes beneath the cloak to fit around it, and with difficulty to hide she possesses a thick, similarly violet tail, with what appear to be scales on it. Some might say she looks like a devil if they're a tad uneducated, but those are all telltale signs of the Behemoth monster that many people fear, and she herself so despises. Even her irises have turned a crimson tone, in the same vein as the monster. Despite the bestial features, they seem to have added other less ferocious features as well, such as curves that fit well with her physique including widened hips to support her tail, and a prodigious bust of a near-embarrassing size, that clings tightly to even the loosest of robes that try to hold it in. Despite the change to her center of gravity, however, she seems as lithe and nimble as the day she ran up Sylx Tower. From her tribulations, her face always seems to be a little hardened, even when she's smiling, as if she's been weathered down but is still standing strong.

Abilities:
-Learning(Innate): In addition to Observe's bonuses, Lefa gains +1 to her Language and Monster Lore checks per blue magic spell she knows. Currently that amounts to +9 to each.

-Bloodline(Beast): “The abyss stares back.”
Lefa is part beast due to her constant scraps and exposure with beasts, combined with her copious use of blue magic. Due to her peculiar genetics she gains the Pugilist and Beast Killer traits passively, and deals an extra damage step when fighting unarmed.

-Observe: “Never stop learning.”
Due to her deductive skills regarding blue magic, she's capable of learning new spells simply by seeing a castable spell used by the opponent, regardless of whether it hits her, a teammate, their own allies, or if she's not even a Blue Mage anymore. The only limitations to her ability to learn new magic are if she is under the affects of Berserk, Blind, Confuse, Sleep, Petrify, or Unconsciousness. She can not Observe magic from a different Blue Mage.

-Chambara: "So these monsters mimic human form? Then I will hunt both."
Lefa does an extra damage step to and gains +1 AVD against Humanoid opponents and opponents with the Swarm property at all times. Should an enemy possess both of these, the effects do stack.

-Predestined("Steal the Spotlight") "I've overcome a lot already. And I'm not done yet."
When spending Destiny to enhance any roll, Lefa has a 50% chance to return the destiny spent upon succeeding.

-Another Path("Stacked Deck") "Fate tends to favor one path through time. I tend to disagree with it."
An amount of times per session equal to half of her Finesse, Lefa may force anyone to reroll, be it for an enemy, ally, NPC, action, skill roll, or anything.

-Diffusion: When casting any Blue Magic spell, Lefa may spend 25% of her max HP to change the spell to Group instead of Single, to affect all enemies or all allies.

-Absolute Power(Limit Ability): "I can't die yet. My people need me too much for that luxury."
At any time during a game session that Lefa would gain one or more experience, she can opt to gain a point of destiny instead.

-Cheat Fate(Limit Ability): At any time, by spending 3 destiny, Lefa may alter any roll to her desired result. As a bonus, upon doing so she may also call a coin and flip it- if called correctly, the 3 destiny spent is refunded. However, if called incorrectly she is inflicted with a point of Bad Luck. Bad Luck can not affect her using Cheat Fate, however.

Limit Breaks:
Inner Strength: "I may no longer be human, but I'm still alive! Long as I stand and breathe I can change the world!"
Lefa's inner will has been tempered like the finest steel from her tribulations, and with her memories of her homeland burning in her mind every waking moment she's learned to control the monstrous blood coursing through her veins without it consuming her. Her body embraces the behemoth side of her temporarily, refining her body in such a way that she becomes much stronger and harder to kill- while she herself ignores the inherit bloodlust through her Inner Strength. Bodily changes aside, this manifests as a new form with natural Regeneration, Unusual Physical Defense, and Auto-Reflect, making her slough off physical and magical attacks alike as if they were nothing. Furthermore, being in such control of her body allows her to shuffle her stats at will- letting her add or remove a total of 24 of her stats for the duration of it's effects. Inner Strength lasts until Lefa is unconscious, levels up, or chooses to end the effect. This can not be used unless Lefa possesses the Vanglory Family Locket.
