Working as waitress at an all-night diner is not what Lana thought she would do at the age of 24, but a somewhat troubled upbringing didn't leave her with very many options.
Now you might think that her life sucks, but she feels like she's in a pretty good place nowadays, which might tell you something of what she had to do in the years before she started waiting tables.
Now she's living in a small, cheap, but clean apartment within walking distance of her workplace. With her new prim and proper attire wardrobe she does her best to act accordingly to what's expected.
Sometimes it's not easy to be all proper and composed, especially when a cute girl starts flirting with her, although the sight of some cute fembois and traps have caused much the same reaction.
She's usually more of a bottom when it comes down to it, but this doesn't stop her from sometimes taking charge sometimes.

Outside of work she loves to relax outdoors and would love to travel, but that's something she just can't afford with her income. She loves to listen to audio books while dozing on a park bench or just laying in the grass when the weather allows it. She's somewhat reluctant when being invited to parties and usually won't drink very much, if at all to avoid sipping back into bad habits. As far as romance goes, there's nobody in her life at this time. Naturally she gets plenty of compliments and will flirt while she's working, but that's just part of the job, really and nothing much ever comes of it.
