Name: Kuntja (translates to; best left alone)
Potential Apprentice: Deetka
(( Okay, for those of you batting an eye, or turned off by "futa" characters, allow me clear the air with this. Theres a very logical reason my character is a transsexual. I wanted a female predator to hunt with, yet since female predators aren't traditionally hunters, I found (simply put) a curious circumstance that might allow such a thing. I have done my homework, and found a very scientific reason for it. The flashing link above on Gender "Female protogynous hermaphrodite" is my source, and the details regarding the nature of her gender can be read below in "About Kuntja". She is very female, and very legitimate. So yes, she has a cock, and a vagina, and damn right I'll use it, Yautja are a proud race, why wouldn't Kuntja want to become a warrior, and breed offspring to look up to her? ))

Hyperoliidae Yautja are from the distant planet (yet closer then the Yautja home planet of "Yautja Prime") of Oliidae. Oliidae is a planet smaller then the Earths moon, made up entirely of forest, and swamp lands. The planet is mostly inhabited by amphibians, and reptiles, being a very warm, and wet climate. The gravity on the planet is roughly 4x greater on the smaller planet, which has done much to improve the speed, and strength of the Yautja who live there. The clan of Yautja which rooted on the planet thousands of years ago are call the Hyperoliidae Clan. The population is mostly made up of female Yautja. Due to the planets size, the population is not too great, however the clan itself is very well respected, and seen as one of the more successful clans. The reason for Yautja moving away from their home world of Yautja Prime, and inhabiting alien worlds is due to the violent nature of the species, born with an instinct to fight, by dividing up the tribes to prevent war. This has been successful in keeping the peace between tribes, even to the point that some tribes have made alliances, and occasionally hunt with one another. The Hyperoliidae Clan has evolved from the enviroment of their planet as many Yautja species do. As the gravity of the planet has made the stronger, due to the distance from one of two suns, and the 64 hours of daylight, with only 12 hours of darkness, the Yautja scales are seen as bright, and spotted. As most Yautja are stealth hunters who stalk their prey, the Hyperoliidae Yautja are much the same, though they often enjoy war games in which they allow their prey to see them, and even test them for weaknesses to make the battle more challenging. The Hyperoliidae Yautja are very proud, and aggressive, they are feared by some other Yautja tribes who have encountered just one of the Hyperoliidae Yautja, and rightly so as they have often humored combat, and even war with other Yaujta tribes, though they do have tribes they are in alliance with, mostly other powerful, and honorable tribes who they see as sister tribes.
Kuntja is a Yautja female from the Hyperoliidae Clan. Kuntja is special, born from a bloodline that spawned the Hyperoliidae Yautja on the planet Oliidae, her genetics have been the most adapted to the planet, so much to the point that she has gained characteristics of other life forms native to the planet. Particularly a frog like species that is capable of changing its sex from female, to male when in a mostly female population. Born female, this such thing has happened to Kuntja, yet only to an extent as her own species was never meant to transform. Due to this fact, the characteristic of gender changing from female to male only partially worked, yet it is believed if she was to breed, the transformation process would be more complete in the next generation to come. Her body has grown fully developed male reproductive parts which like in most reptiles are internal in a slit over their gooch (in this case, over her female slit), yet the transformation ended there, leaving her still 'very' female, and male in only one sense, yet the rest of her body remains uneffected by the transformation. However, with this evolutionary change, she has become just as violent, and eager to hunt as any male from the planet. As a female, she is naturally bigger in comparison to the males, and is in no way inferior to them. Usually, the female of the species have no place, nor seek no place in the hunting games the males live for, however due to this unique situation, and since she has proven herself to be more then capable of being a skilled hunter, Kuntja would join the other unblooded Yautja hunters, and in a span of several years, she excelled all expectations, easily becoming one of the Hyperoliidae's greatest warriors. Among her own Yautja clan brothers, and allies of the Hyperoliidae Clan, Kuntja is socially accepted the same as any other Yautja warrior. The home world as acknowledge, and allowed her to continue with her clan under a close, watchful eye, however some other tribes see her as a disgrace, and due to this, many wars with the Hyperoliidae Clan, and other tribes have broken out from time to time. Currently, there is no war, yet at least 3 other tribes have become mortal enemies of the Hyperoliidae tribe. Today, Kuntja is still a very successful blooded warrior. Her honor, and power are both respected, and admired. Having reached the point where she no longer needs to prove herself, she now hunts on her own, as well as over seeing the hunts of her up coming Clan brothers.
Wrist Blades: retractable blades, Kuntja prefers medium length wristblades over long.

The Yautja are a hunting race from the furthest reaches of the universe. The males of the species live for the thrill of the hunt. The skulls they collect of the most dangerous life forms in the universe show their success, and status among other hunters. Yautja are best classified as mammal-like reptiles; this means that they are warm-blooded creatures with a reptilian appearance, usually referred to as therapsids, which may hint at a synapsid evolution. Yautja are adapted to warm climates and can with stand temperatures up to 250°C (482°F). Although Yautja are warm-blooded, they cannot live in a cold climate. If an unprotected Yautja were to be exposed to temperatures below 10°C (50°F) it would probably die within a few hours. The Yautja armour is made out of Vy'drach (large scorpion type alien beast, not to be confused with the Xenomorph), which lives on the infernal deserts of the predator's home world, surviving heat and radiation strong enough to bake most life forms. If the predator kills the Vy'drach, its hide is made into armour that absorbs heat, plasma and acid to a degree. The Yautja race is sexually dimorphic, in their case the female is larger than the male. The average height for males 7.5ft [2.28m], and average weight for males 250lbs [113.3 kgs], most of which is purely muscle. All weapons, and tools of the Yautja are hand made, varying in size, and styles that have differences from user preferences, as well as modifcations from
In the Yautja circulatory system the brain has a separate circulation. This allows for a higher blood pressure in the rest of the body without damaging the fine network of blood vessels in the brain. This allows the Yautja to live with blood pressures that would normally kill a human. The ability to create and survive such high blood pressure has certain advantages. The blood can be transported through the body faster and thus oxygen and other nutrients are transported quicker and waste products are removed faster. This special circulatory system is part of why Yautja are so strong. It allows the organs and muscles to work harder and thus increase the muscles capacity. The Yautja 5-part heart consists of 2 auricles and 3 ventricles. The blood is pumped from the right side of the heart (seen on the left of the heart schematic in blue) through the lungs. From there it goes back to the heart and into the left auricle (seen on the right of the heart schematic in green). From here it goes in to the 2 ventricles that are connected to it. One pumps it into the body and the other pumps it into the brain at a much lower pressure. When the blood has gone through the body and the brain it goes back to the right side of the heart and the cycle starts again. The Yautja skeleton is stronger than our own, although the material it's made of isn't stronger than the material our own bone is made of. The yautja skeleton is stronger however because of its firm build. The bones are much thicker than our own and also much more compact which makes them heavier. Yautja don't seem to have the problem of calcification which makes bones more fragile. Whether this is natural or because of the Yautja have a treatment for it is unknown. The Yautja muscular structure is in construction quite similar to that of humans. The reason Yautja are much stronger is due to the fact that the muscles have a much more efficient nutrient and waste product transport, as well as the much higher gravity on there home planet. This is because of the Yautja 3-part heart. The greater strength is also created by the higher percentage of muscular tissue per kg of body weight and the fact that Yautja are bigger then humans. Very little is known about the Yautja nervous system; but it is speculated to be similar to that of humans, despite having much faster reflexes.
Unlike humans, who reproduce the whole year round, the yautja seem to have a mating season. This makes sense since males and females live separately most of the time and males are often light-years away from home, hunting on other planets. Interestingly, the yautja mating season does not seem to be written in stone, as both males and females are capable of reproducing outside the mating season. Normally creatures who have a mating season can only reproduce during the mating season. Yautja it seems can reproduce the whole year round but won't. Mating season is a 30 day period which occurs roughly every 400 days. During the mating season the males try to mate with as much females as they can. The high ranking males will attract enough females just because of their status. The males that are lower in rank will have to fight for their females. This behavior is probably millions of years old. It dates back to a time that the first yautjaoids where beginning to evolve. It is likely that the flat crests on top of a yautja's head developed for the purpose of attracting a mate. During mating season a successful male can mate with up to 20 females. This only happens to really successful males these are real top hunters. For the overall population 2 or 3 females is really a lot. But because of this type of distribution of females a lot of males are left without females. This is also the reason most males don't mate for the first time until they are at least 50 to 60 years old and have acquired a reasonable trophy collection. Some times it doesn't happen at all, for instance: when a male is seen as unfit for breeding and he is castrated, or when the yautja becomes one of the eta because of dishonor or cowards. Sometimes the lowest hunting males are also unable to acquire a female these frustrated males may turn on their subordinates. The yautja male reproduction system is similar to that of a human male. On the other hand, the female reproduction system differs quite a lot from that of humans. Although the outside appearance of the female reproductive organs is similar to that of a human, the inner workings are quite different. Although yautja give live birth the babies develop in an egg like structure. A similar type of reproduction implied by some snakes which hatch there eggs inside their bodies. This type of reproduction is called ovoviviparous (Ovoviviparous having non-shelled eggs which hatch internally of the female).
Although yautja can breath the earth's atmosphere they can't breath it for very long, up to 3 days maximum. This is why they always have breathing gear with them. For as far as we know yautja lungs are basically the same as human lungs, with only one difference. Yautja lungs are more efficient in taking up oxygen because their lungs have more blood vessels and have a bigger lung capacity. Yautja skin is reptilian in origin, although at first they appear to have no scales. Over millions of years the scales on them have become so fine they are now nearly invisible. The skin is also extremely tough and can withstand temperatures of up to 250°C without being burnt. Although when faced with cold, even say, 10C, Yautja will die in a matter of hours. It also gives good protection against small caliber weapons (9mm) like a bullet proof vest. The skin color has many variations. Ranging from brown redish colors right through to bluish-greenish colors. This large variety of colors and patterns probably came about when the yautja started to settle on other planets. Presumably their ships where not as fast then as they are now and it would have taken some time just to get to an other solar system. Yautja on other planet would have been almost cut of from the rest of their species. These yautja would then start to adapt to this new environment producing this great variaty of colors and patterns.
