Krampusnacht

Meet Reinhilde, or, as she is more commonly known, Krampus. Each year, around Christmas time, she makes her rounds, punishing ill-mannered children. Woe be to the kids who cannot find it in themselves to behave and respect their elders. For those kids will find themselves soon trapped within a ravenous, ill-tempered goat-demon from Austro-Bavarian folklore!

Though, in recent years, it has become apparent that keeping her activities confined to the winter holiday months is no longer sufficient. So, she has expanded her schedule in order to punish unruly ankle-biters whenever time permits. Furthermore, she's taken to punishing adults as well, on occasion. Truly, these are trying times.

In person, Reinhilde is really quite simple. In addition to being terrifying to many--likely due to a combination of her appearance, demeanor, being 10'4", weighing 16 stone, and her tendency to wield a massive, studded iron maul as one of the tools of her trade--she is quite gruff. Like her appearance, she is commonly blunt, brutish, and often quite mean, frequently leering at others with an expression of condemning disdain. She is indignant, impatient, and has absolutely no tolerance for anybody's nonsense. By her own reasoning, wasting her time is an egregious offense punishable by either eating and/or bludgeoning, as it is a limited commodity. Or, rather, it WOULD be, if she weren't a timeless pagan entity. But, it's not like anyone is going to point that out anyway, she's the one with the enormous metal club.

Don't doubt her appreciation for fun, however. Pagan girls know how to party. In addition to a fondness for pipe-smoking and drinking--a lot--she's developed a bit of a fondness for rock and metal, and is sometimes seen carrying, or heard (loudly) playing an electric guitar.
