History

Korin Nightstalker was hatched to Prince Consort Mistletoe(Changeling) and Queen Twilight Sparkle. From an early age, he always had an interest in history. He spent most of his youth in the castle's library. The entire castle's library was available for public viewing after all. Well, most of it.
Pinkie Pie held a new party for Twilight's 100th year as reigning princess of friendship. Usually, Korin would be in the library away from the main celebrations. However, that week, the library was closed for a new expansion. He joined the party and well... let's just say that it ended with him being married to Pinkie Pie... and him running out of town. There was just one problem, he had terrible directional sense. It really rather messed with him especially when he can't find his way back to Ponyville. Pinkie Pie would ALWAYS inevitably find him though.
Through his travels, he met a Minotaur Spirit of Embers named Ember Forge and a little Filly (Foal) Spirit of Adventure named Scootaloo. They formed an adventuring group together and had many great adventures together. During one uneventful day in Canterlot, at a place called Yets' Bar, Scootaloo began to sing. Of course, it doesn't help when your singing is so bad that the pyromaniac starts flinging fireballs everywhere.. [i]Cut to scene of Yets' Bar being burned down... and fleeing from an obviously enraged yeti.[/i]
They needed a way to pay back Yets for the destruction of the bar. Someone they had met would pay them all they needed to pay back Yets and all they had to do was smuggle some Ovan Coffee in Manehattan. Although, they were found out by the one and only Spike! Escaping from his clutches, they could be able to pay back the debt... most of it anyways. Scoots secretly had kept 500 of the bits. He wouldn't miss it, right? Yets was probably not going to be happy to see them again. Now, finding a way to send the cash without actually meeting with said yeti was going to be hard.
However, the Speaker of Harmony, Sunset Shimmer, and Queen Twilight caught wind of the events and exiled them from Equestria for their safety. Well, for two reasons, Yets and they found out that their Scootaloo was a homunculus with a soul. Ovus was a land of homunculi... mainly because of mule labor. (ha ha donkeys have no souls) (When they had tried to find SS in Canterlot, I rolled a natural one to find my way there. This began the joke that Korin has no idea of direction.)
They arrived at Ovus. The land of the goats and the current land which held the elements of harmony. Except, in Ovus, they were referred to as the elements of order. The first person they met was a goat named Alena, the element of wisdom. Korin decided to ask the MAGIC 8-BALL where to go to either the library or elsewhere. Korin misinterpreted the results and decided to head to the library.
Ovus's King just loved reading. In that library, they met a crystal pony named Cadacus. She had a particular love for healing those that needed healing... even if her method for obtaining that knowledge to heal wasn't the most... moral. Well, obviously than learning about how homunculi work. They found nothing. Upon leaving, Pinkie(a goat version actually) found her way into Korin's sight. It rather caused him to panic. (Cue Wayfarer destiny attained)
They regrouped somehow in the city where they then decided to go explore the city. During this exploration, one of them found... Fluttershy? But, she was dead! Korin definitely knew that she was dead so how could she be alive? Could she be... a homunculus?
So, they ventured on. After a particularly... tense talk with King Grogar, The group decided that it would be best if they encountered Fluttershy themselves. Well, come to find out that "Fluttershy" was actually Discord. Trixie too! He just was never able to get over the loss of her...
Grogar and Discord fought. Stuff happened.
