BIOGRAPHICAL_ENTRY:
Kona, a Zatosian Military Captain, and one of the more elite units of their 'Exploration Team'.
Her mission is simple:
Find other planets, and study the beings upon them.
Terra, or Earth, is the first planet hospitable to them that they have found intelligent life on.
Let me define hospitable...*there is a reason half of Kona's face is covered with robotics...as well as her right arm.
These are exterior augments made to replace things she lost in a conflict with the last intelligent planet she landed on. You see, she took a plasma blast to her arm, some of it landing on her face and melting half of her head.
She did, in fact, die...but her comrades returned her home, where she was 'repaired' and 're-activated'.
Most of her internal parts are still flesh...but bones are re-enforced with steel and other materials, muscles are tighter woven, and enhanced with special fibers that keep them from tearing under extreme stress. No bullet will penetrate her skin, it may go in enough to get suck as a metal 'coin' of sorts against her skin...which she'll flick off sometime soon...but that's about it.
The only way to truly kill her is to hit her 'core', or heart, and completely destroy it.
Her brain's memories and such are backed up in a special unit on her ship....this unit will 'rebuild' her if she dies.
