Echoes Act 1 is the first and weakest Act of the stand, but has the longest range out of all three acts, getting in at about 50 meters (164 or so feet if you want accurate numbers).

It does not have a full fledged personality, obeying its master/stand user though it sometimes lets out the occasional growl or whimper.

Act 1's ability is to write katakana on any surface, be it a phrase or the onomatopeia of some sound. It is put on a surface and can emanate the sound at any volume that Koichi sets it at, or even able to set it at a progressive lowering or raising. Another odd ability of this stand is that, if placed on a person, the sound will come from within them. This can be used for harmful purposes or for making suggestions to those that are of weaker will, basically like a spell. Though it can be broke by those with enough willpower. For example, when Koichi was going against Tamami, his mother was about to kill herself due to Tamami's ability until he threw the phrase "Believe in me" at her, which caused her to truly believe in her son and put the knife down. Another thing of note, if Koichi does not set a volume or keep one in control, it will automatically continue to grow louder the longer it is in place. When on a person, it reverberates to them more strongly.

It's main purpose most of the time is stealth and obersvation, due to its smaller, squirmier build and large range.

Act 2 is a more developed form of Act 1, gained during the batte with Yukako. It is much more humanoid in stand and appearance, though still very aberrant.

Act 2 is still physically weak, but its power has grown to be stronger and much more versatile than Act 1. Its ability is shot from its tail, in the form of its spike. The stand's shot will turn into a katakana sound effect that, when touched, causes something in relation to the sound effect to happen. For example, if he attached something like "Hyooo" ("ヒョオオ"), a strong wind produced. Or, like in Eyes of Heaven, he can do things like attach "Dorarara" ("ドラララ") to someone in order to send out a flurry of Crazy Diamond like punches. It is also capable of its own physical confrontation, still able to send strong hits out with its fists, feet, and even tail.

It is worth noting that Act 2 gets a massive speed boost in comparison to Act 1, fast enough to give the impression of disappearing into air.

Act 3 is the final evolution of Echoes and the strongest, growing fully sentient and able to communicate with its master. He actually refers to Koichi as master and follows his orders well. Though he has a tendency to suddenly curse in English, similar to to a manner inspired by rap music. He has a much shorter range than Act and Act 2 due to the power.

Act 3 has the ability to rapidly punch do physical combat, though his staple ability is the force he can input with "3 Freeze." When Act 3 uses 3 Freeze, he will rapidly punch an enemy and do no damage, but whoever is struck will become encumbered by an unbearable weight. It can go up to the range of 40-50 kilograms (88-110 pounds), possibly heavier. Though there are downsides. Act 3 can only do this to one thing at a time and Koichi has to be within 5 meters (rougly 16 feet) of the target. The closer the target gets, the heavier the weight grows. Act 3 is also much faster than the previous evolutions, able to make forces that can propel even the user back.
