Rina is what most people would call a people pleaser. Almost everything she does seems to be for the sake of others, and there isn’t a mean bone in her body. As an empath, her own emotions are heavily influenced by those around her, and vice versa, so it’s in everyone’s best interest to keep a positive attitude, which Rina does everything in her power to ensure.
On the other hand, if Rina feels any sort of negative emotion, she becomes an endless source of negativity, spreading it to those around her and causing the feeling to intensify. In these situations, the only thing she can really do is isolate herself and suffer in silence until she calms down. Even afterwards, she more resembles an empty shell than a person, needing to get at least some emotion going from someone else. She’s been known to drink or take medication to neutralize her own emotions and dampen her abilities specifically to avoid this.
While at her shrine or on official business, Rina prefers to act professional, adopting a traditional speech pattern and remaining unfailingly polite. When on her own time however, she loosens up quite a bit, showing off a sassy and somewhat chaotic side to her. Despite this, she still has everyone’s best interests at heart and ultimately acts to keep the mood high…even if she may act a bit more rash.

In her free time, Rina often goes on walks, looking to help others in any way she can. As such, she would never do something to hurt someone else under normal circumstances, but as she's an empath, the attitudes of those around her can dull her moral compass and cause her to indulge in a few less than savory activities. Any time she does slip up, her powers only amplify the feeling, driving her to do more and more before she finally breaks the cycle. Given her healing prowess, these instances rarely have lasting consequences.
While normally Rina loves people unconditionally, her biggest trigger is having her kindness be taken advantage of. Despite knowing better, she willingly chooses to trust others, and has been used to further selfish goals. While normally very fogiving of others, instances such as this enrage her, and she's more than happy to blow off some steam at the expense of her manipulator. Oftentimes the end result is a well fed fox and one less manipulative asshole to worry about.
