Let's be real, it's happened to all of us. We've gone along our days, waking up, showering, going to work, working all day, coming home and going to sleep. We've all probably felt the need to try and do something to break up the monotony. Kai here was one such person. A naga, a snake person, he decided to take a vacation from work and go on a small trip via a cruise, see if he couldn't broaden his horizons. Sadly, a great storm sank the ship, despite its skilled crew. Days turned to months and those months turned into a year and a half, wherein his family and friends thought he was dead...However. One day, he came back to the city, miraculously having legs instead of his original snakey features, as well as fox ears atop his head and several huge and fluffy tails poking out from behind him! Suffice to say...his friends and family were very confused.

The cause behind this is unknown, and though he has consistently refused to elaborate on it, he has said a woman named Tetsune was to blame. Whether it was something he wanted or not, he won't say...not that it's been too much of a hindrance to him. He returned to his ordinary routine with aplomb, and though missing his original body, he has gained the power of kitsune magic in their place, and with practice he could potentially learn more. His current powers include growing and shrinking himself and others, absorption via his tails, levitation, shapeshifting and some others he hasn't discovered yet. He hasn't quite mastered these either.

Despite his circumstances and this odd mystical body, he's just as friendly as he's ever been, even if his ex-wife gives him weird looks now and his daughter has a million and one questions for her old man. He's taking it in stride though, and the general take is that having a mystical kitsune for a news reporter has done wonders for their network's ratings.

This profile is Kai_M as a fox man, because...I wanted a fox man. He's good as predator or prey. He currently does not have 9 tails, but will gain them over time as he grows in strength and skill.
