Kira is a harpy that was born about 25 years ago to a wonderful mother and father. She loved her parents so much, but one day, someone came to took Kira for themselves, so her parents tried to defend her, but they died defending her, so she was left as an orphan, picked on by all the other kids in the orphanage, except one. One who saw that her wings were not an abomination, but an awesome thing. Her name was Kimiko.

She played with Kimiko in private everyday they were at the orphanage, and the other kids were so annoyed that the freak was so happy. ((And here is where it gets very dark, so anyone who might get offended by this, please ignore and read on)). They cornered the girl one day they beat her up so badly that she had to go to the hospital, and she died in the hospital. Kira figured out what happened, and who was responsible, and in a fit of rage, used her talons to tear all the kids to bloody shreds. She ran away from the orphanage, and the police never found out who killed all those kids.

For 12 years, she lived alone in the woods, finding what she could get and living to herself, till she was found by a family when she was 14. They were not afraid of her genetic differences with her wings and talons. They took her in and made her their daughter. She lived with them for 10 years. But, tragedy struck and the government found out about this genetic mutation, so they tracked her down and killed her family to try and capture the harpy, but she was so much older, so just like at the orphanage when she was really young, she slaughtered all of them with her martial arts skills and her sharp talons. She ran away and was on the hunt.

She got help from a scientist named Frost. Lina Frost. She crafted a special outfit for Kira to wear in public so she wouldn't be spotted or ridiculed. It would hide her wings and talons and make her look normal. Well, normal-ish. She finished making this outfit for Kira, but she helped Kira escape before she was gunned down and killed by the people she worked for because she aided a wanted woman.

Kira is now 25 and living in Nexus City. She can vore people easily, it being an ability she learned when she was really young. Kimiko taught it to her when she was young and in the orphanage, and she's been honing it ever since. She has her own apartment and all that, and is still on the run from the government. But, she seems to avoid them easily, gulping down the lone assassins sometimes sent to capture her while slaughtering the ones she doesn't feel like eating. Her height is quite the advantage, actually.
