there was once a young girl (the one from the picture) long ago, somewhere deep in China. she was the daughter of a wealthy man, who had given the Kimono to his daughter as a gift. she loved it and wore it at nearly every opportunity she had, especially all of her father's parties. during one of them, however, a disgruntled hag showed up, angry with her father. she caused a commotion, yelling at him for selfish things he had done in the past to make himself wealthy, and then she spotted his daughter off to the side. the woman pointed at her and cursed the poor girl, who in a flash and puff of smoke, disappeared. her father had the woman killed, then ran to her kimono, the only thing that seemed to be left of her. as he began to break down, he suddenly heard his daughter's voice calling to him. convinced that she was still alive somewhere, he began a great search for her, spending every yen he had trying to find her, but he never did. he kept her kimono in a glass box, to be preserved forever. but this is not necessarily what happened.
hundreds of years would go by, the home being slowly destroyed by time and theives, and eventually one of them would come across the kimono. he took it and sold it to a market. there, a woman bought it, and when she tried it on, she heard a giggle. the woman looked around, but didnt notice anything. she went to work later that day, still wearing the kimono, as it was a formal place, to find that she had gotten a raise and a promotion, to the president of the company. she went out for a few drinks and then went home to chance into her nightgown for bed. the next day, a skeleton was found entangled within the kimono-it was the woman who had worn it. it was collected and bagged for evidence, and stored away, the case never being solved. eventually it was stolen again, and worn, where again the wearer was found wealthy and dead. but this time, it was stolen by someone a little more knowledgable in its abilities, and took it to the Park and left it for someone to find and try on, knowing what it would do.
if you havent figured it out yet, the kimono is cursed. whoever wears it gains an incredible amount of luck and fortune. yet when the wearer tries to remove it, it suddenly cocoons its victim and digests them within the garment, then waits for another victim. for trapped within this kimono is the soul of the girl. she was sealed within the garment, and the only way for her to escape the kimono is to devour others. after enough victims, she'll finally be able to have a physical form, which will be trapped in the kimono. but untill that time, she's merely a dress, waiting for some poor sucker to try her on.
and fortune isnt the only gift the kimono gives you. for when you wear it, you not only gain wealth and luck, but a few abilities as well-the wearer can pull victims into the kimono to digest them, fueling both the wearer and Kimono. the wearer also becomes stronger, faster, and more agile, and you can hear Kimono speak to you, helping you make desisions and be eyes on the back of your head. though noone who has worn her yet has figured out anything about these abilities-are you the first one to discover these abilities? try her on and find out ^_^
