Long time ago in a land far away in a now peaceful island. There is a massive abandoned castle standing on a cliff.
Nearly crumbled and mostly destroyed aside from a few towers and walls. They are local ruins for tourists
Rumour and old legends of days where the island was in turmoil sprout from the paintings left inside.
As well as books written down by the ancestors of the land who lived here long ago.
The details are very vague but i can tell you what really happend all those years ago.
Not that kimberly remembers all off this mind you. You learn soon why that is.
In those years there was a power hungry tyrant cloaked in black armour.
The tyrant seeks a certain dark power so he rule over the land and its people.
Like as in every story every villain has a hero rising up to fight him.
The battles were severe and brutal but in the end the villain got what he wanted..
However even the dark magic he seeks was not enough.And was defeated by the hero.
The black knight's did one last desperate attempt and used his power to be reborn anew.
Too wreck havoc on them once more and swore he would return too them.
However as you can see.. he was reborn as a monster girl.. a centaur to be exact.
Because of his dark magic the centaur body looks darkened and a tad evil but... The sudden shift conflicts with his nature.
This resulted in a major memory loss forgetting everything that happend along with his goals.
Or well her goals now tho she still sports a shaft underneath that armour.
The dark knight centaur now wanders around aimlessly for her lost purpose in life.

While she may not remember what happend she sport a hefty amount of magic she can proforma almost any typical spell however..
Due to her dark nature all spells are corrupt so a lighting bolt turn into a shadow bolt .
She is very keen and can copy spells by witnessing them. Copy it and turn it into a shadowy version of it.
She can't learn healing spells or buff as the corrupt version wouldn't exactly turn them out right.
