Personality

Since arriving at the Nexus, Khass has been trying to acclimate to a normal life, or at least as normal as things get there. He's taken to spending time familiarizing himself with the culture and practices of the town, and is particularly fascinated with modern technology. In his time here though, he has made a few friends, and shows remarkable loyalty towards them, even if he does engage in a bit of friendly ribbing. As a side note, until two years past, he was convinced that there were no females of his race, so he is still trying to learn how to properly interact with any anthro dragonesses he runs across. Whether cross breeding could occur is anyone's guess. Females of other races he can still appreciate, but chances are he wouldn't become romantically involved with many of them.

Abilities and powers

Shapeshifting: Being created by magic from a creature that is already magic, it is no surprise that Draconians have several abilities. Like all Sivaks, Khass has wings that are actually useful, allowing him to fly for periods of several minutes, longer if he strains himself. In addition he has some shapeshifting abilities, though their use is quite limited. Basically, whenever something dies by his hand, he is able to take on its appearance, fully or in part, and keep it as long as he wishes. The only limitations are that he can only use this on things smaller than himself, and even then, he can't shift back into any form but his natural one until he kills again.
Vore: Unlike other Sivaks however, he is able to unhinge his jaw and swallow prey whole. There are several benefits if he dispatches his opponents this way. In addition to getting a filling meal, after they are digested, Khass can shift between his natural form and the form of the last thing that perished in his stomach at will, still keeping the size restriction in mind. This "stored" form can be shifted into at any time, but doing so will discard the "short term" disguise he was using.
Death Throes: All draconians are able to strike from beyond the grave, and Khass is no exception. If someone manages to kill him, the magic within Khass leeches a portion of his killer's very life away, fueling his shapeshifting magic one last time and making his appearance change to match his killer. Like his usual shapeshifting, it fails if the target is significantly larger than him or else isn't humanoid. When it does fail, however, his remains explosively burst into flames harming all around him.

Background
Like all original Draconians, Khass was created through a dark ritual performed on the eggs of Metallic dragons, one of the earlier batches around 346 AC by their reckoning. As soon as he was able, he began serving in the dragon-armies. Showing an unusual cleverness, he was trained as part of the Draconion Engineering Corps, the group mainly tasked with building bridges and fortifications, either as part of defense or offense. However, upon the integration of magic users into the dragonarmies, the engineering corps was mostly disbanded, as their tasks were easier and more quickly accomplished with magic. Thus, Khass was moved to the front lines for the remainder of the wars as the rest of his unit was shuffled about to find new roles in the army.
As part of the vanguard of the army, Khass was among the first to reach any fight. After the end of the war, he wandered for a while, making a living as a mercenary, and evading the bands of Knights bent on wiping out any surviving Draconians. During this time, he actually made a name for himself, albeit under an alias while disguised as various humans.
It wasn't until shortly after the the end of the Chaos Wars that he had heard of the newly formed Draconian nation of Teyr, led by his old commander from his engineering days, of all people. With his national pride and skills from the war, Khass rose through the ranks, quickly becoming a top spy and assassin protecting Draconian interests. He served there loyally for two years as one of the most trusted and skilled agents in the nation.
Eventually he was given the task that proved to be too much for his skills, infiltrating a heavily guarded facility, putting his powers as a Sivak to good use. Unfortunately, he was found out by a powerful mage. In a an effort to escape, Khass disrupted a magical experiment, causing a massive explosion. Waking up, he found himself in the nexus park, stranded with no way of getting back to his home, or his people.

Notable Events

Took a job for Loretta_Rel to improve the fortifications and defenses at her castle. Among his reward was a promise to supply raw materials to any small projects he had, as a way to help him maintain and even improve his skills.

Joined the Fanaa's cult of Starvation demons. He saw their 'territory' and decided that someone ought to show them how to actually prepare a defensible position. Plus, it doesn't hurt to ingratiate yourself into a growing organization either, especially with the patrons that seem to be watching over them.
