Introduction: “Zoom in on this!!” barked Steven to the nerdy looking camera man. Kelly stood before what was clearly a deformed possibly mutated rat. She sighed at the creature and took another glance, examining it thoroughly.”Sundamys infraluteus” she said when the name finally came to her. Steven fawned, “You’re a beautiful genius! Tell me that’s Latin for chupacabre.” Adding just the hint of a Hispanic accent to the last word, his excitement palpable. Kelly smirked, “Unfortunately not… It’s known as the Giant Rat of Sumatra and it is dead.” She was a little disheartened having to tell him the truth, but no one was going to take them seriously unless they found some actual cryptids. The long drive to Texas was fun, but they couldn’t afford another failure. “Should I cut the camera Steve?” asked Ryan. “Yeah cut it… Were done here.” Replied Steven, more than a hint of frustration in his voice. Kelly’s phone vibrated for a short burst, the kind of notification indicating she had an email. She read the contents of the email and let out an excited squee. “Guys! This one is from a Mayor out east. He says his town has had more than its share of weird activity and even a few disappearances! He is convinced there are strange creatures stalking his town.” Normally when they received this kind of email it was from some nobody, college kids, conspiracy theorists, and bored old women.. This one, this one seemed legitimate. A mayor!? Her heart thudded a little excitedly, though she was admittedly concerned that it could be too dangerous for them.

Description/Background:

The jersey devil, big foot, snake people, Kelly had investigated all sorts of weird “eye witness” reports with her boyfriend Steven and his best friend Ryan. All of them turned up embarrassingly false.

Kelly is a zoologist, and frankly she could be making more money with her degree.. The group of “Monster Hunter’s” had yet to truly stumble upon anything out of the ordinary. She would be doing something else with her time, but Steven keeps her inspired with his almost childlike curiosity for the unknown.

When it comes to animals Kelly is the expert, while she may not be the astounding charismatic that her boyfriend is – Kelly knows her stuff. Her role in the rag-tag bunch of investigators is the scientist. She has the knowledge and credentials to back up their findings.. if they ever make any.

A stunning red head who often wears a pair of skinny jeans and a band tee, Kelly is an attractive girl with an athletic figure. She thick framed black rimmed glasses and often keeps her hair in a ponytail.
