Kaylah is a tall girl in her late teens, much like any other. She's a bit shyer than most, has a lot more residual body issues than most of those in their Junior year, but otherwise she's fairly typical.

Well, you know. Aside from the horns and the tail.

Her horns are fairly pretty, really, polished black bone that sticks out from the back of her head on either side and curves down almost immediately- they aren't long enough to stop her from tilting her head back to look up, though. They're tough and well-attached, but pretty purely decorative- especially in their contrast with her pure-white hair. That hair hangs loose, the bangs long and shaggy enough to shade most of her face, and the rest long enough to brush the top of her tail. Her tail is roughly as long as she is tall, a lengthy five foot ten, and at the tip it seems to broaden just before it can narrow away entirely, a cluster of six bone spikes clutched to the whip-thin final bits of the spinal limb.

Her tail is as completely black as her skin, though its scales are a shiny onyx compared to the matte black of her unscaled skin. She's fond of longer skirts, usually modified to let her tail out the back as the thick, reptilian appendage would otherwise foul up her walking. Her arms are often bare if it's warm thanks to the fact that some of her turtleneck sweaters are sleeveless, but she's otherwise totally covered up.

When she's not sitting in her desk during class, she near-universally has binder, notebook, and at least one textbook clutched close before her, as though she were using her school supplies to shield her body from the eyes of others. They do a good job, too, between their size, her hunched shoulders, and the curtain of white hair that hangs behind her.

She doesn't have much to say, and generally tries to blend in to the background as best she can despite her coloration and size.

As to the things she keeps secret- or tries to....

Yes, she is half black dragon. This makes her more durable than one would expect, and a bit stronger- though not much as she's no athlete. More remarkably, her tail can stretch out into a taloned mouth of sorts at the end.... and much to her dismay it's not totally under her control. Her family has 'lost' a number of housepets, and now and then if she gets annoyed at someone (though she makes sure not to show it herself) her tail will take matters into its own, ah, mouth. This tends to make a scene as she has to force it to let go of whoever it's gotten ahold of, usually manually.

She is, technically, stretchy enough to swallow another person slightly smaller than her whole, either through her mouth or her other mouth, but she doesn't do it (and hasn't even tried with her mouth-mouth. Her tailmouth does more than enough trying on its own that she has to stop, thanks) and really is just embarrassed by the whole thing. It's made that much worse by the fact that she's actually -very- nicely figured, and the few times she hasn't gone to so much trouble to cover up and slouch and all, she's gotten a lot of people staring at her breasts (or her hips, but mostly the former).

So, she tries to stay away from people, doesn't pipe up much, shields herself with her books, and is just sort of generally reclusive.

Anything else unusual she can do, she doesn't know about, and isn't sure she wants to.
