"It'll be our secret, 'kay?"

The innocent troublemaker. If you've never had that friend, you were probably rather fortunate, but associating with Kayel may be a ticket to having such an ally. With a sweet face and more than modest features, she appears to be a sweet, soft-spoken girl, usually wearing sweaters and aprons around her house. Her neighbors think she's a saint, almost to a suspicious point; she does charity work, helps with the neighborhood watch, and is always the first to hop in for catering at local parties, though despite how involved she is in other peoples' lives, she rarely burdens them with details of hers, particularly what her job is. But her real friends know that Kayel isn't such a noble maiden.

See, Kayel's solidly retired at the age of twenty-two, but said retirement was from a rather sticky career as a super villain of sorts. She had a six year campaign of battles with various enemies, though even those that discover this secret rather seldom discover who. During the whole affair, she wore a mask and went to great lengths to conceal her identity; revealing it now would open up a whole new can of worms.

She was rather good at what she did, too. So why quit? Well, she mostly got bored, and as she matured, she realized that conquering a country (and, ultimately, the world), while quite a lofty goal, would be one that would ultimately doom her to tragedy. She came into an agreement with the government: she would retire if pardoned of her atrocities, and would agree to provide them with all of her research. She was lying about the latter bit; inspecting her apartment closely would reveal she's kept a few weapons, including but not limited to shrink rays and mutagens. Though, aside from this, she mostly kept simpler devices that allow her to go about her everyday life without much worry, including a 'roommate' that's really a robotic maid and a super-computer of a laptop that's quite literally siphoning a fortune into her off-shore account by pinching the pennies of careless corporations. No one would really notice the money vanishing, anyway, and she doesn't really take more than she needs to survive.

Of course, government agents, supers, and other curious souls can't help but snoop. They all tend to meet a rather gruesome end to their finite existence, though the action in question isn't illegal. At least, not here. There's a reason her home happens to be near the Park. It provides her with a rather easy, legal means of disposing of those that prove problematic to her. You know, aside from such devilish activities adding to that lovely figure of hers, allowing her to fetch the eyes of that cute boy down the street or the girl next door, which she'd be more than happy to toy with before adding them to her glory, too.

So be sure to say 'hi' to Kayel if you happen to be in the neighborhood, and be careful about how much you try to find out about her. You may bite off more than she can chew.
