Katrielle Layton (or just Kat, for short) is the daughter of the esteemed detective Hershel Layton, and runs the Layton Detective Agency, along with the talking dog Sherl and her assistant, Ernest Greeves. She seems to rely on instinct alone to solve cases, succeeding where investigators trying to use logic have failed. She has an impressive appetite, able to put away several courses and stlil have room for dessert!
